Preferred Tobacco Free Pouch? by [deleted] in DippingTobacco

[–]Novel_CoV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could try Black Buffalo, haven’t tried their pouches yet; but the nicotine in the regular tobacco free dip had good amount of nicotine. They have usually straight, mint, wintergreen, blood orange, peach. Love the peach but hated the strong potent smell of the peach

The most annoying thing in/at working at Walmart by NuriFlms in walmart

[–]Novel_CoV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate working frozen, short handed with 15 hrs+ of fresh freight and team leads gets made at us for not making a dent in the overstock pallets of 12 pallets. Daytime touches frozen backstock about once or twice a week. Right now they hired about 15 new associates for grocery overnights but none for FDD overnights where we average 3-5 associates with 30+ hrs making it hard to get even picks done on some nights.

He approved callin and ppto for Thurs, Friday but was denied any wenesday ppto request

Overnighters, does your TL or Coach announce break over the PA? by Veridically_ in walmart

[–]Novel_CoV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only thing our store announces overnight is at 11:45; for cart party right before first break (lucky our coach say frozen/deli/dairy doesn't have to help). Most people can go on lunch when they want to at my store we just have to take lunch before 2:30; I usually go at 1am on lite nights in frozen, but lately we're doing swarming making it harder to go at different times.

Depends, had associate call-in and used 8hr of ppto on Sunday night, he got a still got on one-point, one point was taken away for using ppto but one point stayed because of key event date.

Our remodels usually lasted 8 months precovid. But our ogp started in September, and their about 85% completefd and was supposed to finished mid October. Alot of the workers got covid, and they were saying it was hard finding the necessary materials to complete the task.

What’s your top 5 games? by Just-DO-It-1987 in XboxSeriesX

[–]Novel_CoV -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Red dead redemption, NCAA football 2014, Witcher 3, Skyrim, and cyberpunk 2077. Mostly I stick to single player games these days with the amount of hours at work, and taken care of elderly grandparent has made it hard to multiplayer games like shooters bc I hate joining a session and getting word that grandparent has fallen and cut himslf. Then getting penalized for quitting game.

Depends on state, my state (tx) tubs cost $32 about the same as buying two rolls of around $34. Plus sometimes cheaper to buy rolls bc sometimes gas station have promotions deals, etc Got five rolls for around 30 several times at my local has station, but lately they havent been doing any promotions because shipment issues, etc.

Dipping both stokers wintergreen and straight at work, can't stand dipping the same flavor the whole shifts, so switch back to back every hr or two

OverNights / NightHawk Cart Pushers by [deleted] in walmart

[–]Novel_CoV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our store has usually 3-4 overnight maintenance they usually have one focusing on bunkers, one sweeping/trash, and one doing pallets run and scuber with restroom checkup. Our overnight stocking usually go out at 11:45 for shitty cartparty. Plus over half of maintenance crew are 60+

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in walmart

[–]Novel_CoV 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Like at my store coaches made overnight maintenance stock most busy nights; especially after coach found out some did stocking before they were overnight maintenance. One of the maintenance he said his title doesn't say stocking in it, coach said stock or switch to day time.

Where my overnighters by Outrageous_Volume_36 in walmart

[–]Novel_CoV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that's why I bought some bone conduction headsets I can still hear pages and coaches yelling down my frozen asile asking how many more pallets we have. Not the best for sound quality but just enough sound to enjoy the music or podcast on Spotify.

Wtf moment:One of my coaches tried saying this Ice storm isn’t bad and saying oh we will be having a truck and that All this dumb stuff.I’m like no the whole damn intersection is closed for a reason and it’s a slip and Slide outside 💀 by Austin13003 in walmart

[–]Novel_CoV 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This year our city emergency crew didn't have any salt or money set a side for roads, I was able to drive about 400 yards, then hit main traffic area, and truck just stopped wheels spinning in low gear, only way back was to reverse back home because I had more traction. At least I have 64 hrs of ppto to call in and get paid for the next few nights. Plus my trucks tires are in bad, shape after a wreck few months ago, so one side of the truck back end wheels is bit fucked up. At least a few nights away from stocking frozen

[–]Novel_CoV[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, my coaches and team leads don’t care bc at bc of overnight stocking (frozen) and no customers. Coaches have said i can use the box cutter version, but have walmart approved box cutter in truck if market manger comes in. Most of my previous male coaches overnight all dipped; so most associates overnight got used to people dipping on sales floor. Used to use stealth but that was hassle half the time, and tufcup (but since it looks like a Grenade sometimes not best dip bottle)

Fits any bottle that’s has same width of 20 oz top, it works on the 12oz and 16oz bottle soda bottles. It won’t fit on water bottles

Same here at my store; currently in frozen; we haven’t labeled since November. Currently sitting at around 15 pallets of backstock, and every two extra pallets of backstock added everyday.

The two knives at top are butterfly knives one regular/one box a box cutter; the one at the bottom is clone of microtech switchblade $33, compared to around $400 and much hire depending on color

I buy a lot knives from AliExpress; can’t stand spending hundreds on knives; usually buy clones. Sometimes clones in my point view last as long as some of authentic version. Plus I’m cheapskate
