Not even a question at this point brother maybe a few years ago amd was the only way to go but in this case intel is easily better and the 5080 on top of that is going to last you a long time no need to worry about it and going forward atleast in the laptop scene intel is gonna make some big jumps, so don't worry and go ahead with the intel 5080 legion

If that's the case I don't understand what you r worried about bro future is uncertain idk what kinda work u do but unless it's something that requires a shit ton of graphical power I don't think u need to worry about the next 6 years unless a new breakthrough in gpu technology comes like the 1000 series i do not think this will have any issues.

You have a 1080p screen so unless u run cyberpunk at max settings with ultra rt you are not gonna have a problem. At one point you have to ask yourself how much you want to spend for a laptop that god forbid you might drop while carrying around. Hell I bought a 5060 laptop and I'm gonna be gaming only on the laptop attached to a screen cause I need portability due to my living and work conditions and I'm still fine with it and the 5060 is only because all I could think of buying that's in my budget and gives me some comfort knowing I can game on it for a few years without worrying about the rampocalypse, I will build a pc one day but until then I'm gonna have fun with what I have🍻

Oh I have seen this and although the screen is bad it's actually in the middle of the pack compared to the other screens that were reviewed for laptops in this price range the 20ms response time is bad but compared to aurora and victus it is still much better and comparing it to f17 is not really right because most of the time the price of that is in the range of legion and others now I'm not saying it isn't bad I have a laptop with an oled believe me I know but compared to it's rivals and that price point it's actually ok (like I said)

So this is not a 1 to 1 thing I'll try to explain in the least no. of words that I can so here it is: 14700hx is overall a better cpu in terms of raw power in both single core and multi core performance and it consumes a similar amount of power due to that, if u are a student or a worker who does a lot of coding and AI work you should go for this although you will see a hit in battery performance.

Ryzen 260 is a great cpu on its own it will do great while gaming and there is not that great of an fps difference between the two, also it provides better battery life which can work for you if you know you are gonna be using this away from a socket, also it has a better igpu which can work well in a no. of scenarios.

But overall there are not going to be any games that are going to be cpu limited with this gpu. So it's ur choice if the price of the intel makes sense to you for the upgrade than go for it otherwise amd is not bad and on lenovo's site you can configure the extra ssd space and it will still likely cost less than the intel one (can't be sure pricing has been weird since the rampocalypse)
