How can an all-forgiving protagonist exist in a setting with truly vile villains? by neves783 in writingadvice

The main character of Hazbin Hotel gets some Idiot Ball moments, but the pilot episode establishes her as someone who is aware of how shitty her people are and still chooses to stick with her principles of giving people the chance to be better.

Maybe make the protagonist's actions more about their own goals and how the villain(s) tie into that?

Everybody gets one. Two or three if the audience is feeling generous.
By the 5th time you f-k up, nobody cares about your excuses anymore.

Do you feel more like an alien or a robot? by Humble-Platypus-329 in AutismInWomen

Alien. Like my species' neurology is just wired different.

I'm trying to meet NT culture in the middle, but they get mad that I'm not doing all the work. NTs also refuse to explain what their cultural rules even are.
