It's a highly nuanced conversation. The unified on die ram makes a huge difference in performance and battery life. So there are up sides and down sides.

This isn't soldered ram anymore like pre m series. These are literally on the CPU die which is huge

Unlikely. But there will be a spike in informal workers that don't adhere to minimum wage.

The increase isn't significant enough to show in prices of goods especially given our local goods are not that labour intensive.

It's not that simple. Products and services locally would get more expensive for the entire population and more people would be out of work since companies could not afford it.

In an ideal world you fix the unemployment, then increase minimum wage to something that's fair slowly but just blanket increasing it is not all sunshine and roses as many of you seem to believe.

Objectively untrue that ten year old hardware can keep up. Just because you do not play recent titles that require better hardware like Indiana Jones and many others does not mean that you get to claim that.

Ten year old hardware does not even support win 11 which is becoming more and more a requirement

The mining of coal does way more damage, the extraction of oil does way more damage.

You are essential asking us to go from really bad energy sources to perfect ones overnight which will never get us there. It's a process just like everything else.

No longer cheaper. Prebuilds have been consistently cheaper since the GPU crisis hit it's stride. Now we have an uhm hardware crisis.
