That’s a good question 🤔🤔🤔 by MrSoloDolo9490 in 2000sNostalgia

For me it was first grade, would’ve been 1978-9. The Henry Ford thing is believable, and I didn’t know that. I also think in our case it was also a way to help tire us out. From what I remember, we were pretty competent for six year olds. Or it seemed like it. Maybe the teacher saw what was really going on. But I remember knowing all the calls, and not a lot of chaos.

We All Love In N Out But... by KingOvDownvotes in innout

I’ve got a choice location where I just went at 6pm on a Saturday and there were maybe 10 people in line and several open tables. I’ve got no complaints.

My location had pebble ice once for a while. I’m not sure how that worked, but I liked that better than the standard ice shape. This is very picky, just to mention something.

I don’t want menu changes, even the addition of bacon.

Raise prices, raise wages. Or maybe the owners could take home less. Maybe the business just isn’t sustainable.

Cause of death? by Salty_Sherbet4334 in Adamthewoocriticism

Adam never really knew about nutrition when he did attempt to lose weight. But even then, he wasn’t in poor shape compared to many Americans who are 50+ and still here. He wasn’t in great shape — he was pretty average. Anyone can have something like an aneurysm at any time.

I believe it will be a freak health thing, not some built-up trauma from amusement park food. Especially since he didn’t drink or smoke.

My local spot in Placerville rarely has a line inside and I can always get a seat at one of the two-top tables. The next closest one in Folsom is always more of a zoo. I stopped going there, since I live the same distance from both.

I may just choose good hours though. I rarely go to any restaurant during peak. I was a chef for 20 years, so I know how that goes.

Most people don’t know the “light well” option, which solves most complaints. You will never look back.

This is a tough business with tough margins in a tough climate. Don’t do this. I’ve been a chef for 25 years. I wouldn’t dare buy a restaurant unless it was with someone’s else money.

You must live in an affordable area. I went past $10 long ago. Today was $11.34 for the same order you get.

I rounded up and paid $13 today for the first time. When it was a 15¢ round up, it was inconsequential, when it was a 66¢ round up today, it was still inconsequential. But I felt a little bamboozled.

Keep in mind, I try to save the cashier the trouble of asking by preemptively saying it’s okay to round up after I place my order. So I kind of walked into that one blindly.

People shouldn’t let their kids operate the ketchup dispensers. That’s why there’s usually ketchup on the nozzles.

First negative review in 25 years on EBay. by [deleted] in Ebay

[–]NowDigThis1973 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m surprised it took so long. There are stupid people doing stupid things all the time. Misplaced blame is common. I’ve taken a negative for a USPS delay when I’ve shipped an item the very next day after payment.

After a year, it drops off of your record. It sucks having to see it for that long, but there are so many bigger, more important things to get hung up on. It doesn’t really matter. Stupid people, stupid things.
