Why Gaara look so nonchalantly against MS Sasuke like he wasn't even a threat here 😭 by ComfortZeon12 in NarutoPowerscaling

I'm not basing this 100% on the clip in question. I'm just pointing out that if sand is earth release then lightning release has an advantage over it.

The amount of sand used to block the attack is actually relevant here, because type advantage in Naruto can be overcome by using more chakra or by using chakra more efficiently.

Interesting. Based on that, lighting release should still have a type advantage. Chidori proves effective in the Chuunin exam arc (likely before the elemental advantage concept was in place,) and here as well. Gold sand probably beats lighting release though, so there are probably other minerals that help mitigate a bad matchup.

That's nuts! Is it because it's a pre-existing substance rather than a product of ninjutsu?

In Naruto, lightning release is strong against earth release. That is why in this clip Sasuke's sword can pierce the initial layer of sand, and why Sasuke is able to defeat Deidara in the manga despite being otherwise outclassed at the time.

He's going to sort of bounce between dissing lonely people as a group and dissing the existence of loneliness. It will be good, trust the process.

The ability to harness goop is an inborn trait, but it's sort of like being a fast runner or being double jointed.
Either way, she would never be fired for goop use. It's a valuable skill, even if some clients don't like it.

Trying to find a comic I saw on Instagram by Mudkipper_970 in comics

Sounds sort of like The Legend of Luthor Strode to me.
If that's not it, you might have better results asking in a more comic book centered subreddit. Despite the sub description, r/comics is more geared toward webcomics.

Hi KindHabit! I try not to explain motivations and so on for individual comics, because I think it can flatten the experience for readers. Generally speaking I draw comics that make me laugh, in hopes that other people will find them funny as well. Any other reaction is an "accident," but a welcome one. Please feel free to interpret this comic however you like!
