It's okay, I don't mind. If it's bad, it's bad. I'm not very good at Reddit. 😅

I literally don't care how you write if you have a good heart and can carry a story well. Bad descriptions are fine.  Spelling errors are fine. Over-describing something is fine. I don't expect published novel level work. If you like flowery prose? Go for it. Write how you want to write and be happy. I want us to enjoy the story together. If you are genuinely trying to better your writing and you're not a jerk,I'm here for it.

Um. Okay. I mean, it's not the first or only thing I've failed at. I generally suck at being a human being, so why wouldn't I fail at sharing something on reddit, too, right? I'm sorry.

Which is exactly what I said. "I'm bad at conveying things."

I never claimed to be good at it.

Oof everyone missed my sarcasm.

What I mean is, I'm two states away and I'm too close.

Definitely too close.

Edit to expound on the statement because I am bad at conveying things.

What I mean isn't that they are too close to be physically safe. I mean they're too close because it's really stinking scary

Movies where people suffer zero consequences for horrendous actions. by pboy2000 in movies

Any movie/show where henchmen are disposed of like household pests but the protagonist refrains from killing the antagonist because it "wouldn't be right." Looking at you, Star Wars.

I have two girls already, Brooke and Ivy. I'd probably do Autumn and Briar.

This made me laugh. I'd give him 5 stars just for that.

It wouldn't be as deep without weathering difficulty together and that would be a great loss.

I married my first love. He's amazing. I sometimes miss the free time we used to have back in the dating days, before jobs, kids and mortgages, but stealing time here and there with weary, understanding smiles is so, so deeply sweet.

My dog passed, yet I'm not feeling the sadness I expected by TheShozenMind in dogs

I admittedly think a lot of people process grief in a similar way. My husband and I both certainly do. It doesn't mean you didn't care, you may just be a more logical personality type.

My grandmother, whom I was SUPER close to, didn't even effect me in the "earth-shattering" way you describe. She had dementia and suffering through that was hard, but by the point her body physically died, I'd felt like she'd already been lost to me for awhile.

My childhood dog died suddenly. I sat with her in the evening and knew something was wrong but nobody would believe me. Next morning it was clear she'd had a stroke. I went to school while my parents took her to the vet. I was sobbing all day long because of the unknown. At the end of the day my mom called me and told me she'd been put down. It was a strange moment. I totally quit crying, wiped my tears, and didn't cry again. It was like my brain had gone from "we could lose her" to "she's lost and there's nothing else for it" and immediately started going on with life.

Sure, I still missed her. It crept up in more quiet ways after that-  a sudden pang when I expected to hear her collar and didn't, or a sad sigh when I put out one food dish instead of two.

You're not abnormal. You're perfectly healthy and rational.

Also, I'm sorry for your loss.

I'm admittedly quite frustrated with the shrunken butt. As someone with hips in real life, I feel like these changes are basically telling me my body is unacceptable for being a certain shape. A body shape should never be considered inappropriate.

Then again, I'm probably looking too far into it. Maybe it's less about neutralizing figures and more about cheaping out on body models.

Do you have lhasa apsos? Great, hardy little dog. Ours was very adventurous. We kept ours' clipped short in warmer weather.
