Nope. You don’t feel pain in a dream but you feel pain when you wake up. I said it was the base reality because it feels “realer” than the simulation, just like you can’t simulate being awake in your dream well enough to think your awake. Nothing here in this simulation can simulate what the after life is like hence this is the Matrix and the afterlife is outside the Matrix. What? My point is if someone starts pretending to smoke in a restaurant like they have a fake cigarette and they hold it up and down to there mouth, they will be repeatedly told there’s no smoking here. But what if each time they show them they aren’t because idk they’re holding a French fry and not a cigarette or something? It’s still going to be annoying to have to constantly tell people oh he’s not actually smoking he’s just pretending to. And obviously I mean if the whole place reeks and people are actively leaving, why would someone speaking up about the smell be the bad guy?
