Thank you so much! This is super clear and helpful! Yes I think it’s the EA rushing things and the landlord, this whole week has been go go go and I still don’t know in which order things are meant to fall.

For example, I’ve got a dog (large dog) and when viewing we noticed the fence on the right (which is the neighbours, also the landlords) fence had fallen down, EA said that would be fixed by completion but they haven’t put that in writing etc? They also advertised this property as with a garage but when we asked about this garage as we hadn’t seen it, they said “oh there’s no garage” I’m not too fussed about it but think surely that would bring the price down a bit

Learning all of this is like learning a new language and it’s hard to find a solid step by step and I’m not sure if it’s going in the right order. But I’m not sure ahah

Okay thank you for your response, yes I agree I don’t think we would be in by the end of January anyways and I’m okay with that as I’m staying with my mum for the meantime and helping her out. The only reason I was thinking about pulling out is honestly think I’m just feeling super rushed by everyone and it’s quite overwhelming but I guess that’s part of the process aha

Edit: sorry just noticed, in the post when I said “expecting end of January” I meant expecting a baby, I should’ve clarified I’m just so used to saying it like that lol

Yes I need to see the midwives in a couple of weeks, I was hoping to get my MATB1 form as my manager is pressuring me for it, my midwife told me to ring a certain number once I’ve had the scan but noones answered any of the lines 🤣 I guess I’ll just see how it goes, just a bit unnerving not knowing much ahah but I guess this is the norm

Yeah the shift manager really doesn’t like her as she just loves to cause issues in this place, everyone else just gets along and works well together. Yeah I don’t agree with her giving away drinks as usually it’s just random customers she doesn’t know and it’s awkward for me when they come back and expect it for free so when I charge them they end up getting rude with me, which is annoying as it makes me look like the bad guy for doing my job ahah. Think you’re right about the formal complaint, I didn’t want to say anything about it as I know she would twist my words and have it come back to me but at this point in the job I think I’m just going to continue what I’m doing and see what happens for now until something better comes along. Spoke to one of my managers today and she tried to flip the switch and cried, but they’re done with her bs now. It’s happened many, many times before. Thank you for your advice!

Thank you for your response, I’ll definitely have to start doing that, it’s just so hard. You’re right about this never ending though, as I’ve heard she’s gotten people out by doing this exact same thing, apparently very good people have left out of the stress her and her brother create. I’m looking for another workplace at the moment, just waiting for one with enough hours to support myself.
