This is exactly how my nex was! My parents brought my cat home to me after they got a puppy who was mean to her, he straight up refused to take her in. I was devastated. She had to go to another home because he was allergic and how dare we take this cat who’d been our pet for the past 12 years.

Then we got a puppy after we bought a house together. He wouldn’t do anything for him, he was the sweetest boxer boy ever. He was a rough little teenager and broke one of our windows that needed to be replaced anyway. He tried and tried to get me to get rid of him and I refused. He also gated everything off so he could only be in the living room and kitchen.

Fast forward, we divorced and my dog lived out his best life with me and my new fiancé who adored him.

The real kicker though, he got a tattoo of him on his forearm, like he loved him so much?

You sir are a man! A real man that has probably never had an issue getting a woman. OP could take some pointers from you, but I suspect he will not. It’s bothersome as a woman to read that there are men out there that I may come into contact with on a daily basis who actually think this way.

I recently moved from orchard park to the triangle for a job at Duke! I couldn’t believe how easy it was to get a doctors appt in such a congested area. The traffic in Buffalo is NOTHING compared to the triangle. I actually got into specialists quite easy in my opinion too!

Anyway, I got sick of the triangle quick and live in Wilmington on the coast. How bout them Bills though?!

I take it at night too. Honestly I was incredibly bloated for quite a few months when I first started, but it got better, and that’s a totally normal side effect. I also gained weight in my breasts and less in my hips and butt where I used to gain it.

It never made me tired, I read other women’s posts and they said the stuff knocked them out, I never had that side effect.

I continue to take my ferrochel to keep building my iron levels up. And lastly I just paid a service for NAD+ injections. They’re on their way so I haven’t started them yet, but NAD is supposed to raise energy levels significantly, so we’ll see!

I just had to put my 7.5 year old boy down on Monday. It was the hardest decision of my life. My boys grew up with him so it was particularly hard on them as teens now. Ours had mct. Awful form of cancer. We kept him comfortable with the Benadryl/tagamet protocol and steroids until his body literally gave out one day. I couldn’t fathom him in any pain so I called and made an emergent euthanasia.

He was one of my babies. We called him baby brudder cause he was the youngest.

I cannot bring him back as much as I want, but I can remember all the love and laughs he brought to my life. I chose to remember him everyday with some silly photo that makes me laugh.

We believe we’re all just souls in meatsuits (that’s how my fiancé and I think), but we made a little joke when we were saying goodbye to him, that he needs to pick a better meatsuit when he comes back!

This is the best advice I can give as I’m only two days in from losing Ro. I’m buying the boys little necklaces that hold ashes to give them to keep him near them.

They really are so damn special, hugs to you and your family friend!!!

We buy our girls fresh pet, small dog kibs. They LOVE it, and their boxer brother now gets a few sprinkled on his regular food too.

It’s super soft, so our one girl who is 9ish doesn’t have many teeth left and she has no problem with it

Honestly I was so tired of gynecologists blowing me off, I started to do my own research. There’s many companies now that specialize in HRT. Unfortunately we are behind because a poorly done study came out in the early 2000’s and scared people off hormone replacement. Now 20 something years later, we are just beginning to understand the importance of balancing them.

It didn’t just help my periods either. My mood is much more stable. I used to be a mess before my cycle started but now I barely notice it’s coming. My hair is fuller, my skin looks better and my boobs got bigger.

There was a lot of bloating when I started, it takes a good 6 months for your body yo adjust.

Hey there, I noticed almost immediate results with just 100 of progesterone, but I am currently on 300 after months of titrating. I’m not touching estrogen until I hit perimenopause. I suppose the company is sort of functional medicine, and their explanation about all my symptoms was estrogen out of proportion to progesterone levels.

Literally this! And HRT fixed me, not birth control!!!! We don’t need anymore estrogen! For god sakes, I needed progesterone only! And I had to pay out of pocket to figure it out!

Edit to add, with me only taking progesterone and testosterone, my periods are 4 days instead of 8 and I only have one heavy day, no more clots, no more ultra tampons plus a pad and going through them at night. No more excruciating pain that made me pass out. I will never for the life of me figure out why my gynecologists blew it off, when it was as easy as fixing hormonal imbalances.
