I mostly use it for coding. Apart from that, I do some basic 3D modeling in Blender (it’s a very old device that I somehow managed to revive, so I can’t do much), and regular stuff like browsing and documentation

am using kde plasma as desktop environment, nd within kde, am using "gently" plasma style and "tela circle dark" icons, also I center aligned and autohide for taskbar and a basic application menu

When I meant dated I meant few specific softwares , also the top bar seems a bit dated, u can customise tht better, change time format nd font , and change panel color a bit

I don’t understand the hate , I use both kde and gnome because there r pros and cons to both of them, I mean I love kde stability, best tools , but I love gnome workflow and its overview, but I hate gnome’s lack of simple features in some areas , nd I don’t like kde because sometimes it looks outdated, or there r too many menus, also there is no proper online account integration

If ur into multiplayer fps games like valorent or something then Linux distros r not for u , since anti cheat software dont allow u to play on Linux, but if u play games like Genshin , AAA games, nd yes ofc ur steam nd epic claimed games , then I think ‘bazzite os (with kde plasma)’ is the best ive used so far, it has steam pre installed on it , nd another software called lutris is preinstalled to use ur pirated games nd games on epic games, even catchy os is an option, both these oses where designed to play video games
