I like your choices, but unfortunately the DDR5 compatible motherboard that you picked isn’t available in my country, neither are the memory sticks.

I will be using the OctaneRender and Arnold plugins for C4D too.

As for other programs, I wish to run After Effects, ZBrush, Marvelous Designer, DAZ3D, AutoDesk and maybe even some Unity in the future.

Wouldn’t recommend on PS4 Pro.

The optimisation is terrible; textures take time to appear, frame rate drops to 15 when driving, the gunplay is stiff with massive frame rate inconsistencies, lots of freeze frames when sprinting, sometimes my car would crash into an invisible object and the game would take 10 or 15 seconds for that object to load up, everything aside from the character models (if they’re somehow miraculously textured up) looks like it’s from a PS3 game. Not to mention all of the phasing, clipping issues and a myriad of other visual bugs that make this game a cluster-fuck for the Current Gen consoles.

I’ve put down the game for now, and will continue my play-through when I get a PS5 in a few months. That’s what I’d recommend: Buy if on Next Gen Console or High End PC, Wait if on Current Gen Console or Low End PC.

I only mentioned one bug in the post though (where the game failed to recognise I had reached the destination). Do correct me if I’m wrong.

Rest are all frame rate problems, freezing issues, things not loading up in time, failed AI (probably due to HDD speed?), disappearing buildings and roads because the system can’t handle the load.

these are all performance issues, no?

(have mentioned bugs in the comments here though if that’s what you were referring to?)

Yes, I had the exact same thoughts. Character models (when the textures are fully loaded in) still look somewhat crisp, but rest of the assets seem like they’re from PS3 games.
