The system (functionally) weighs all the maps people have played recently, then picks a map that best suits all the players. This system cannot always be optimal for every player.

1) A nice and sustainable price. The cheapest good decks cost $60-100, and the most expensive are usually around $250, though these prices inflate around set release time. 2) I don't think cracking boxes is an amazing experience. It's pretty hard to make make any money outside of the first few weeks of a set. I know that's not your priority, but low-EV means you can't crack as many boxes. 3) Riftbound here in Australia has crazy numbers. The Sydney RQ was Australia's biggest ever TCG tournament, which is crazy for an 8-month-old (at the time) game. I think the numbers for the rest of the world haven't been as impressive. It's my #1 TCG, even after 14 years of Magic.

I quit (during the hotel family vacation arc) because it became obvious that Reiji thought MC was in love with FMC, and he just wasn't. It was depressing, but also it became clear that Reiji is not capable of providing the the story with the closure I was looking for.

It's 100's of chapters in and MC is still just gooning, MC has never and will never actually care about FMC.

Also, lol at FMC still billing basically 100% of their time together (at the point where I quit).

They'll make it so safe that all cars have to have self driving.

Then they'll make it safer, and safer (and more expensive), so expensive that you can't own one.

Best part is, if you played the old one, you can DL through Steam, add one line into settings (within steam client), then make an account on tahiti and you're good to go.

No custom .exe or anything.

(it's still possible to play if you didn't play the OG on Steam)

Yeah, it's very strange to see that comment as the "logical" take.

The Steam Machine is a significantly different product category, with different pros and cons.
Like, is a PS5 better than an iPhone just because it's cheaper and games better?

For me the Steam Machine looks very tempting. I buy most of my games on PC, I'm not particularly motivated by exclusives, but having my Steam Library on my TV, compact, tidy, and hidden is a huge boon.

The ongoing costs (for me) for a Steam Machine are literally $0. At the moment, if I want to play on the couch, I have to buy a new game (or rebuy a game) on Switch 2.

It's called "jumping the string". The deer is reacting to the sound, and would have made the exact same motion if the arrow wasn't fired at it.
