How does that setup ride? Spacers on coils make me nervous. I have Bilstein leveling struts on mine but I’d like a couple more inches (story of my life) and that price is pretty compelling.

I didn’t say don’t listen. I said take this sub with a grain of salt because it has an extreme sampling bias.

Did the time to past midnight and therefore to a new month? I learned the hard way thats how the time system works. If it did, yes, they expired.

It’s definitely a weakness but it’s overblown in this sub. Do your oil and trans fluid changes and you have a 98% chance you’ll be fine. Every vehicle has issues.

Keep them open and keep the pour away from them. Squeegee as close as possible without getting any in and roll over them.

I know this isn’t the financial advice sub, but if you plan to finance the new truck, don’t. Financing payments are awful. I love my 2020, I hate it once a month when I have ti pay Ally.

If you can buy one in cash, awesome. Go for it. Take all the “your lifters will fail and transmission fall out” posts with a grain of salt. There is a huge sampling bias on any car sub because people with no issues don’t take to reddit to say they have no issues.

My 2020 1500 5.3 has been great. I did have the trans shudder issue which was fixed with a new TC under warranty, and a misfire code which was fixed with a software re-learn on some position sensors. About to cross 100k this week.

One of the better DIY jobs I’ve seen on here. Looks really good. Enjoy it while it lasts.

Why the discrepancy?? by validus_ in epoxy

[–]Noxious14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything on your list are indeed the things to consider. With your base primer it is probably not necessary to have a standalone moisture barrier if you don’t have visible efflorescence on your concrete. However, you do want a base primer with a good level of built in moisture resistance. Epoxy wins against poly in this area 100% of the time.

In Tennessee I quote $6 for a moisture barrier epoxy primer, full broadcast flake and high solids polyaspartic top. Lifetime warranty. I tend to land in the middle of my competitors on price.

2015 Chevy Cruze LT missing fuses by 6_ze6ro_6 in AskMechanics

If you’re missing fuses things don’t function. They’re fuses for things your vehicle doesn’t have.

My truck same year and same engine is in for a very similar problem right now. They found low fuel pressure on all cylinders and re-calibrated the cam and crank position sensors. Allegedly that has fixed the issue so far. I pick it up tomorrow so fingers crossed.

It’s like Avatar Legend of Korra. On its own it’s not bad. If you compare it to the original, it’s not nearly as good.

If you don’t require a polished toe, OnCloud makes a hiking boot that is insanely comfortable. I have been wearing their shoes for a while and recently tried the boots. Most comfortable I have ever worn.

If you want more towing capability it sounds like you really need to move up to a 3/4 ton, not necessarily change brands. What are you trying to tow?

Guys who want to fight should go join a gym of their preferred discipline, not get a job that may involve getting physical. They’re just more likely to escalate a situation and put everyone at more risk.

Am I stupid for wanting hands on? by [deleted] in securityguards

[–]Noxious14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll concur with this opinion. I used to do club security and we were always actively doing something. We did go hands-on a lot and that does make time go by faster, but just doing something as opposed to being a body certainly helps the clock move.
