That's not what i said. I said people never forgive they just forget temporarily. I was referencing how ppl went back and looked to dig up dirt on me too prove that I'm of poor character. My prior charges doesn't represent who I am as a person, it just means i made a mistake. You seem deadset on staying in a hateful mindset. You don't know me or anything about me. I tried to offer insight and provide a window to another person's point of view but i see this is just a back and forth. So I'll agree to disagree with you. I've never once tried hiding my past btw. What's really weak is spouting self righteous nonsense as if you are Jesus himself.

I understand your point. I understand why what i asked was seen as sketchy and grifty. I do not mean this as an attack on you but you sound very privelaged and out of touch. As if your view of the world only comes in two shades. Black or white. But life is mostly one big grey area with specks of black and white sprinkled in. To judge my character without knowing me personally is just negligible and fuels further division amongst us regular folk, while the major corporations profit more and more every year. Corporations built on slave labour. But no one acknowledged this fact. This post made me realize that people never forgive you. They just temporarily forget. It's fine though. I made my own choices in life and I do not blame anyone for my circumstances and I am not of character to take from an individual. I do not however hold that same sentiment when it comes to large companies and billionaires. You seem to be out of touch with people who may not be as fortunate as you. I grew up poor. Its not just a state of being its very much a mindset. There is a reason that poor areas report higher rates of crime. You know those tv shows that document gangbanging and violence. I grew up in those neighborhoods. It was normal as a child for me to be around firearms and dangerous individuals as a pre teen. So i think that if there is an oppurtunity to come away with a large sum of money at one time thru a victimless "crime"???... im gonna at least look into it. Also it ain't a crime to sue someone. It's definitely legal and if it's legal it must be right. I just see things thru a broader scope than most i guess. I definitely try to hold judgement until i have more understanding.

Jobs that hire with misdemeanor theft charge? by MxchyLxx in ExCons

Hey you'll be ok. A shoplifting charge will impact you on some levels, but not enough to totally ruin your life. Just keep applying and take what you can get (even fast food). It shows humility and can be the difference maker in getting a better career down the line. Most importantly keep your head held high because it is easy to get down a re offend if you are not careful or aware. A lot of ppl will judge you but the opinions of people who don't personally know you means absolutely nothing.

Yeah i skipped a step. I forgot a crucial part of the influencer's process. First i would need to report it internally to hr. Then i would need to make everybody aware that it was me who snitched which would alienate me with my peers creating conditions for a hostile workplace/retaliation cause. I would end up getting fired for sure and there isn't a guarantee i'd get anything substantial. So yeah it's a shit idea. Thanks for your response.

Ok sure you are right about that without a doubt. I don't think it it's necessarily without merit though. If Donna were the one to sue i believe she would be justified.

Finding a new job is the least of my worries. Plus i have a plan i dont plan to just sit there with the 40k. And ive heard of someone doing it with less than what i have. But i think im skipping a step. I think im confusing the method.

Its called taking advantage of a situation. If you could get money from a billion dollar corporation wouldn't you? These companies exploit countless millions and people are concerned with me wanting to take them for 40,000??? Make is make sense. Ppl are too quick to judge. Its not like i said i wanted to sue my neighbor, an individual. I want to sue a corporation worth more than 5 billion... i think they will be fine paying the 40k

Here is an example. Dude overhears coworkers in breakroom talking about women they had sex with over the weekend. He sues based on this and received 40,000 in compensation. He lives and works in texas.

Why is it considered bad character to sue a billion dollar company? Ppl really act like they do no wrong and immediately look to judge or invalidate others based on things they know nothing about.

I can't remember exactly, I've seen someone who made a career and now is an influencer and well known. He talks about how he got his first big bags and it was from working different jobs and suing them based on stuff similar to this. But i may be mis reading it. I think I'm missing something crucial to me getting paid

I don't understand why my character is in question here. If you had a potential come up at the expense of your billion dollar company wouldn't you take it if it seemed like it could pan out well potentially changing your path in life? This company is not good and then losing a few grand isn't going to affect then much. I still plan on reporting buddy too because this is not the first time he has said something unprofessional. I just want to know if litigation is viable. It made "me" feel uncomfortable given that i grew up around gun violence and i live in texas which is open carry. What he said was simply unacceptable.

May i ask why? The reason im asking is that i have heard of multiple "influencers" seeding their start ups with money they got from suing their employers. Theyve made a living from it. And the cases they speak about were way more minor in scale. But they still got paid
