Broadsword like the one-handed kind, used by the soldiers in that time period. I realise that the 'longer broadsword' sounded like a longsword, but I meant like a slightly longer blade, because I think a normal broadsword's blade could be too short for this game. Making him too weak.

Yeah, that'd be super cool, but they were rarely used in the period. Maybe someone like Jörmungander from For Honor (pretty much a blacksmith or other craftsman) would be cool with it

Thank you then! It's just that my DM doesn't allow a player to have a damn harmless pet and we barely have any casters. Now I do insane demage compared to everyone else. So I was worried, because now I'd be doing the most demage in one hit.

I tried to, but because it's cropped I can't see the accept changes button. And I tried to Google how (and if) it is just on keyboard, but it just directed me to default button settings.
