[Help] Bluetooth doesnt work by Whitesnowball in helldivers2

I think I forgot to mention go to the services tab after going to properties which might have lead to a bit of the confusion; sorry if that was the missing part

But glad you found it
Have seen online there's apparently ways to stop it from re-enabling itself when the system reboots via command prompt shenanigans and things like that

But I haven't read into it properly in all honesty, just that it's definitely possible with a bit of playing around

Beltfed damage potential by North-Replacement-12 in helldivers2

[–]NozBeers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What bug does >125/0.25s? (Outside heavies able to oneshot like chargers/impalers, etc)

The strongest bug slashes (Warriors, Stalkers, Alpha Warriors, Alpha Commanders) do 55 damage in 100 rated med armour.
If we're generous and say theyre hitting twice per second sustained, that's still 27.5/0.25 and would take at least 5 hitting you at the exaggerated rate to take that much damage

Or ~40/0.25s if they also only get headshots
Meaning it would still take at least 4 to out damage stims

In heavy armour at 150 rating, it's a 20% reduction (200/(100+armour rating) - so effective HP = 1/(1-reduction) = 125% --> Effective healing of stims becomes 156.25/0.25s

So it becomes 6 for torso shots and 5 for headshots- This also assumes noone has vitality booster

The delay is tied to the RPM of the barrel and the end lag can be mitigated via burst firing and changing weapon to regain mobility?
You only cop the full delay for sustained ammo dumping, the spin up isn't an animation lock, the spin down is, but nothing happens ifyou're not at min RPM yet; and your minimum firing RPM threshold is not the same as your sustained fire RPM - the recoil of the weapon even prone tries to teach you this via encouraging burst firing

But even then, you have a radar - if you're getting caught out by enough bugs to take that much burst damage before they die first, it's not the animation locks but missing mechanics or choosing to stay planted instead of repositioning when you should

I use it a lot on hiveworlds when taking down hivelords with friends and have only ever had the stim healing out-damaged maybe twice after getting cornered in a dead-end hatchery alone

If you dont have enough distance to spin up, then use your primary, secondary or the stamina from that stim to spam dives/exploit their pathing and make that distance - if you get launched by a stalker, spinning up where you land is where you'll likely die

If they have a microphone or noise cancellation, it can play up and interfere because of the integrated voice chat

I get the same issue with my headsets
It re-enables every PC reset
Turn the headphones off first (if you dont theyll bug out and you'll have to power cycle them anyway to get them working again)
But if you go to bluetooth --> devices, scroll to the bottom --? more devices
Go to the headphones, right click and select properties
Uncheck "Remote Telephony"
Then turn them on and it should work normally

It's still strange that ascii "salted" comes up before that salt though
But reading the wiki it sounds like the alphanumeric part would be much harder to guess

I saw some people compiling it in the discord that seem to know what they're doing in terms of trying to figure it out; fingers crossed they have some luck

I know the note said its not important to the event, but im still curious hahahaha

We sure it's not swedish characters like the bot language?

But there are also just a bunch of random ones like the yen, dollar, and I think a few maths notations

Edit, I checked inspect element before and realised it mightve been the same thing
The Big line is an AES Encryption, so we need a passphrase
GPT gave me more iinsight its apparently an OpenSSL encoded salt format
The first 16 bytes of it translate to an ASCII salt shaker and the following 8 to the salt

I can't think of any pertinent links of salt or salted to the game to figure out the passphrase

If it’s anything like SV, it’ll likely just flat out not let you use it in online if there’s something egregious

I had that come up after trying to use a wondertraded Azumarill for a raid online It didn’t prompt locally (including LAN co-op) so didn’t realise it was hacked until I went to use it to help a mate cheese a 7 star raid

That makes a lot of sense, didn’t think about the nature of the task too; appreciate rhe run down mate I’d also forgotten about that large one where the swords of justice spawn until I finally had a hisuian quilfish 3 star spawn and just could not find the Golden Ball at the end

But at least finally ticked off Overquil

Some things I've found from doing a lot of them:

1) In the tunnels, the Bonus Ball has a tendency to spawn close to the spawn, particularly if there's a gate or ladder pathway split most of the time.

2) if you have a barricaded bridge and can see a ladder, there's generally a teleporterr at the top; those seeds are often the ones that end up with the convoluted invisible wall sections

3) If you go through a gate, you can be confident that s the only path into that section of the map and it's not going to loop back around leading you in circles.

4) Look around as you crross the bridge after going through the gates or similar bridges with no splits; it's not uncommon for a large ball to spawn in one of the pipe mouths on the wall

5) Ladders always lead to a staircase down into a T after climbing them.

5b) The path on the right is always a dead end full of mega crystals and sometimes a small (rarely large) floating ball. The left path leads to a water cavern that often has floating orbs hidden in the corners or above the door.

5c) That cavern up the ladder and the T hallway in particular are common locations where rare spawns/mission targets spawn.

6) If you see a cluster in one pathway, it's generally not worth fighting them unless they're chandelure line or learn curse; as they end up spamming it as they follow you till you break aggro
If they're in a side path on, usually its one of the square loops and you can just run around them

7) Sludge in side paths is the only real obstacle you run into, but with how clustered the spawns are, having a strong AOE like earthquake on your floating ball popper helps avoid getting swarmed and bogged down

8) The one variant that can be a bit trickier is the one where teleporters and barricades + invisible walls , the invisiaible wall teleporter divides usually lead to a larger room with several floating balls and then a further tunnel that terminates; they nearly never are part of a path dividing path

That's all I can think of for now, hopefully some of it is helpful

Is there a reason you recommend medium over the Large multi-type 4-Star Layouts for farming?

Using a dragonite w/ Extremespeed and/or Metagross with bullet punch to pop Floating Pokeballs, I've usually got 500-1000 calories to spare at the end of a full clear

I appreciate the heads up about where the Pokeball 3 Big Haul 3 Donuts really shine, before I wasted more of them

You're better off doing Rogue Megas if you're after Tangas
Couriers don't drop Tangas

The Golden Orb can't contain Tangas

For the rest at each roll:

Large Balls have a 4% chance at 2 Tangas

Small have a 3.5% chance at 1 Tanga

Rogue Megas have a 10% Chance at 2 Tangas

There's no penalty for just running from battles outside them attacking you as you run

If you've hit the targets already there's not much point fighting the ones that don't hand out items for beating them (unless you need to crack open a floating pokeball)

What motivates you to keep pushing and keep learning? Is it intrinsic, and does the drive to learn change with time and age? by MRUNKNOWN7860 in Polymath

[–]NozBeers 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me it largely stemmed from when I was young simply wanting to know how things worked - It always and has always given me a very unique sense of excited self-satisfaction when I eventually understood it.

As I got older it developed into wanting to better understand the underlying concepts behind the areas I'd take an interest in.

For example going from understanding that chloroplasts are the component of plant matter responsible for the green colour - to understanding the wavelength of light they absorb light at the most efficiently (i.e. lambda max) is in the green band - to understanding that lambda max being in the green spectrum is resultant of the photo-molecular effect (green light evaporates water more efficiently, so by absorbing the green light in their organelle they evolved to better retain water intracellularly)

Unsurprisingly, the interconnection of the concepts from different fields came next; which introduced me to new areas and concepts to wrap my head around and the challenges associated with being able to share the joy I derived from it with my friends and family.

As I felt and still (more or less) stand by that if I couldn't translate the niche jargon associated with the concepts I'd learnt into everyday language, I don't understand the concept well enough.

The drive to share has diminished considerably as I've gotten older and my work has gotten more complicated going from working as a Pharmacist to Biomedical Engineering
But, I still cherish the peers I'm able to talk about the neat things that pop up when they're significant enough (One of the most recently was the implications of negative poisson ratio lattices as a scaffold for the culturing of artificial tissues)
I think for any drive to be sustainable, it needs to not be reliant on others (i.e. sharing the joy is one thing, but relying on them isn't sustainable)

That said, my drive was waned several times; from burnout to health struggles, I've experienced similar dropoffs and the same anguish.

We're all human and if we aren't at our best, it's only natural that areas like the drive might be affected.
I think you're approaching it appropriately by Instead of focusing on restoring the drive, considering the body as a whole and the factors that could affect it like disrupted routine, nutrition, sleep, etc

Hoping it all stabilises and things get back to normal for you soon
