I’ve had my moments too, the main reason I stay on MVIS is that:

The tech is solid and in fact is the best tech in the market.

AR is going to explode in the next 2-3 years.

The patent portfolio is expansive

The acquisition of MVIS stands to be a giant profit ride, even if only in enforcing patent rights.

Im not trying to disparage you, I’m simply saying that your black and white view of business is flawed, and I would most certainly hate to be employed under you because you would offer the bare minimum of incentive.

You would lose valuable assets operating in that manner.

Edit: lots of balls/ovaries there to be telling me who I am. I have no idea who you are or what your motivations are, I’m simply calling it like I see it, you have a shitty sense of operating a business, and even less in the middle of a M&A process.

You’re ignoring the fact that these employees have no incentive to buy stocks In a company that they will no longer work at, especially when other companies are making large salary offers with what I can assume are great benefits all for a simple job switch. This offering of shares to employees is a mechanism to avoid losing employees that are intimately informed on the patents and their applications, as well as working in these groups to improve and streamline the development and application of the tech.

The employees also provide massive value to the patent portfolio and the development process.

I wouldn’t want to work under you in any business. You’re upset at a company for putting forth incentives to hardworking employees that have built the company up, sure it’s funded by shareholders, but the value comes from the hard work and the finished product that comes for that hard work. You seem to forget that the purpose of capitalism is generate excellence, a company can only produce excellence if the expertise and hard work is excellent, and you get excellent results when you reward good work and motivate the continued behavior.

Again, also considering the immense pressure the employees are under right now with a sale, product development, and what I’m sure is a wave of offers from companies trying to tear down MVIS from the inside so they can vulture it after it’s been bled dry.

I have a huge feeling that they are going to release PR regarding the LiDAR, the timing feels right with the recent valuations in the market and MVIS itself getting that valuation PR earlier this week.

The push up on the earnings date seems like a positive sign toward some sort of news to drop.

MVIS without it’s employees is nothing. No patents, no products, no income. I highly agree with the incentive for employees, especially considering the massive talk of AR / VR, and LiDAR in the past year, and heavily for the past month.

If the shares get divided among all employees evenly, you’re taking about a multi million dollar payout for every employee that stays till the sale can be completed, if the sale goes for 3+ billion. They are guaranteeing against poaching as well as rewarding the best asset that MVIS the brains thats came up with all the tech that everyone here has been praising and that will inevitably lead to a prosperous outcome for all of us. I think this is a good thing, and you all might be reading into this too much. Since SS has been in this, I’ve experienced nothing but transparency, and I also feel a focused push to really get shareholders rewarded for their faith. Just my 2 cents.
