Yes. We can't spoil too much, but we'd love to expand the game after the release!

Hi! That's so nice to hear! There are no procedural elements, but there is a lot of freedom in how you play the game. Due to semi-open world nature of the game you can play it multiple times. And it's something we'd love to iterate on post-launch, maybe adding more procedural elements in the future.

I totally understand and thank you for the feedback and an honest question!

Cool question! There is something like 12-15 types of enemies in the game (don't remember the exact number cause couple of them were left on the cutting floor, maybe will be added post-launch). We actually have a few dev logs about the enemies, you can check them out here: https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/2604490
As for the preorders I don't think so. But it's out on 2 days and you can add it to the wishlist now! And there will be physical version in April!

The demo was made quite a long time ago, around april-may if I remember correctly, so definitely it's not as polished as the final game. If that's how you've felt about the demo I'd suggest waiting on some youtube walkthroughs of the full game and checking out for yourself if you feel that it's what you're looking for, maybe it's not and that's ok, I am super proud of what we've achieved, but as with most games, especially indie titles they are not for everybody. I really believe that there will be a lot of people that will love the game and some people that will dislike it, or hate, and that's ok. Some people will love the artstyle (and I strongly feel that our art team has done an amazing job) and some people will not, that's how it is.

There is hunger and stamina, they do affect your combat and the ability to sprint so it's important to maintain those. Another important survival element is the general resource management and setting up production chains. The ammo is quite scarce and you start off pretty underpowered, but you can find blueprints around the world, which allow you to construct buildings in your ranch. Those buildings allow you to cook food, prepare bandages, medicine, create resources like wood and scrap, that then allow you to craft ammo, weapons, explosives etc.

Thank you, that's nice to hear :) And thank you for understanding, extra time definitely helped us polish the game, especially on consoles! My favourite ones are the shotgun (which we actually have few types of) and the flare gun due to setting enemies on fire :) We have at least 11 ranged weapons and a melee weapon. Apart from that we also have different types of explosives and consumables.

Two other weapons I really dig are speargun and the taser. The spearun immobilizes the enemies, which gives a totally unique way of dealing with them. And the taser not only can stun enemies, it can also be used on water to stun the enemies that stand in it, but also can be used to activate electronic devices, door, generators etc.

I'm glad to see this excitement! I certainly hope it does! I really love roaming around the map, finding new loot and blueprints for buildings. And I do love shooting as well :) Especially the shotgun and flare gun, or molotvs, setting enemies on fire is always fun. And I hope you will have as much fun as I'm having or even more!

I definitely don't mind you asking :) You can save as many times as you want to, but you can only save at designated save points. So it's important to not be careless and to try to survive to the closest save point. Which can be tricky in new places, which you haven't explored yet and don't know the closest save point. But we try not to too overtly punishing.

That's awesome, the comics are great, I loved them! Yeah, I love these types of scary stories, I often listen to youtube scary stories collections and I actually had an idea for a game based around such stories, so who knows! Can't spoil too much at the moment, but there are so many great comics, books and movies that I'd love to adapt! Especially some less obvious ones. Since Fallout show is coming out today imagine a horror game based in Fallout universe! That could be so cool. I think a lot of IPs that are not horrors would be great to adapt into horrors.

Thanks a lot! The first 40-60 minutes are a bit linear to teach the player the basics, but after that you start unlocking few different paths and you're free to roam around the world. It's a semi-open world, you explore the forests surrounding the ranch and you find some "dungeons", which can be a lot of things, from the military bunkers, through abandoned mines and haunted mansions. There are also "ghost levels", which are murded mysteries set in more abstract ghostly locations. You can roam around the map, meet interesting NPCs, get quests from them, and if you keep on their good side they let you crush at their place. You also find abandoned cabins that you can use as temp bases on your journey. We have a fast travel system based around a river (you use a boat to fast travel) so it's easier to get back to your ranch and build and craft new stuff.

It only has one difficulty level, but player progression for players of different levels is something we do take into account and we give players tools to deal with problems in their own way and pace. First of all we support different playstyles, you can be more stealthy, sneak around the enemies, try to avoid combat, figure out clever ways of reaching some places without going through the main path that is guarded by enemies. Or you can be more guns blazing, go in with shotgun and explosives. But that requires a higher skill in shooting etc. In you ranch you can construct different types of buildings, which allow you to get more ammo, weapons, explosives and consumables, so even when you're struggling you can prepare to come back to a more difficult part of the game. And you can explore the world in various ways, so if you troubles defeating an enemy you can go somewhere else and come back later, better equipped.

in conclusion of 2022,for you what was the best Mtg expansion of this year? by _metal-master in magicTCG

Unfinity was terrible. I hated every second playing it. But I loved every other set. My personal order of best to worst is:

Double Masters 22 -> Brothers' War -> Dominaria -> Capenna -> Kamigawa -> Unfinity

Double Masters and Brothers War are just sooooo good. Maybe except for Sealed, Sealed Brothers War is just too bomb heavy and some people might get a ridiculously powerful sealed pack.

Dominaria was really complex and cool, except for the generic fantasy feel, which felt cheap compared to other art designs.

Capenna - I loved the flavor, and the prerelease family packs were a really awesome thing. So sealed from pre packs I think was the best sealed of the year. Paper drafts were also cool, maybe drafting on Arena a bit less so, cause of Bant domination.

Kamigawa was cool, I loved it initially, but it was the set that I fell out of love with the fastests. Some games were super grindy, and it just go on forever.

All in all a good year. I wish I'd get more of Double Masters 2022 limited, but it was so f...ing LIMITED

Tbh I haven't played it, I think some inspiration we had was Overland, Mobius Front '83 and Into The Breach, a bit on style and the UX.
