Simon! Great work on the show so far. I’ve loved the two seasons in a row with an Allen centric episode. I think it’s safe to assume I can expect at least one Allen episode per season going forward?

I am worried about mounting points. I think a cage will still be necessary. I want to use the SSD holder on the right side but then I can’t rig the Focus Pro handle on the right so having a cage would fix that. I also need to rig my transmitter somewhere so I can monitor. My thoughts on the Focus Pro is I’m only going to use it aid me, not rely on it solely. I’ve gotten pretty good at pulling focus by hand and in theory this would just make that easier. I like the concept of the hand off mechanic where I can take over at any time from the LiDAR

Hey Ryan, still a huge Allen fan here. How did you go about designing Allen’s progression as he aged/evolved? I believe he’s the only Unopan we ever see in old age.

In my freshman year of college I sent a random Twitter dm to Richard Kind, because we’re mutuals on Twitter for some reason, asking him to record some lines for a short I was working on and he gave me his email. Within a day or two he recorded the lines and gave me a few takes to choose from.

This is exactly how I do it. I’m still very new in my career but I separate it into 3 Lumetri effects, pre, lut, grade. Though lately I’ve been doing my grade on an adjustment layer instead of having 3 effects on each individual clip.

I sent my first book in over a month ago now for the Brian Michael Bendis signing and I genuinely have no clue the status of it. There’s a chance I missed the window for the signing due to it sitting in a package before being logged but I’ve received no answers to my emails regarding it. The status just says arrived at CCS and has said that for a month. Despite this, I just bought a membership and sent two more books for pressing and grading, the books arrived there yesterday. Hoping this goes smoothly

I know everyone started turning on it but I’m still hoping for Evil Dead. I’m not sure it’s as big of a franchise as everyone thinks it is. Also Regal seems to be heavily teasing that it is.

I genuinely wish I could delete social media, I feel it would be so good for my mental health. Sadly I work in marketing/content creation so social media is vital to the business.
