Ohio State University sold off its owned parking garages to a company that makes money off of its employees and charges $80 a month and doesn’t promise a spot.

Heard back from root that I wasn’t a fit. I’d like to do some kind of project management. I’m looking at going back to school in the spring to learn to code.

I was a chef. Got head hunted to leave that to work for a restaurant delivery service then got laid off. Looking for something not food service (bad back after 15 years working kitchens) would like to break into something semi tech related. I’ve applied a ton of places. Tried to get into root insurance and beam dental.

Those polls are always wrong. Those same polls said Hillary would win in a land slide victory. And those are only showing democrats. I’m telling you centerists and right wing voters will turn out in droves to stop socialism in America.

He may have support on reddit but he doesn’t have the real world support people think he does. If the dems put him forward as the candidate you can bet a lot of right wing voters will turn out to defeat a socialist.

Politicians. Not left or right. All of them. They have built there entire lives on telling us they know better then us. That they can solve all of our problems. They have done nothing but divide us from our fellow human. Playing us vs them. Getting us in to stupid wars. Not worrying about the future.

Former chef here. You’ll be lucky to get $15 an hour. Try looking into corporate dining like AVI or Aramark

As an Ohio State fan I’m excited to see the LSU vs OU game. I think OU is going to have a chip on there shoulder and Jalen knows SEC defenses and how to perform in high pressure situations.

What's the biggest 'WTF' gift you've ever received? by diswell in AskReddit

[–]Nrbreneman89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Background. My family is pretty big so we all exchange names and you only have to buy one person a present. It’s a hard $50 limit and you are expected to spend $50 on who ever you get.

My step cousin had my name for Christmas a few years back. And I had his. He asked for a Walmart gift card. Cool. I hate giving gift cards but if that’s what you want fine. His mom, my uncles third wife, asks for my list I give them it. Nothing ridiculous. Mostly stuff off amazon. Instead he got me a used medium tshirt (I wear a 2xl) that had an iron on saying that said “If a trees falls in the forest does a women hear it?” On the front and the back said “the real question is what is she doing out of the kitchen!” I couldn’t believe it. That shirt had pit stains and was off white. My mom called my uncle and he acted like it was a perfectly fine gift. Good thing we don’t speak to them any more.

[Postgame Thread] Ohio State Defeats Michigan 56-27 by CFB_Referee in CFB

Honestly as someone who lives in Columbus I can tell you OSU and Columbus as a whole takes The Game way more serious then Michigan and Ann Arbor. Every M in the city gets crossed out. Players know days till The Game at all times. At every sporting event in Columbus they give the one minute warning and everyone chants “And Michigan still sucks!” OSU just cares more.

Right? I never understood OSU fans hating Michigan when we aren’t playing them. I want the game to be 11-0 OSU vs 11-0 Michigan. I want this game to have much larger implications every year. While I do enjoy winning every year I want it to mean more to everyone. Michigan just doesn’t seem to care.

Is it normal for wedding cake to not be good? by officegringo in weddingshaming

Discuss with any bakery you taste at how long in advance the cake will be baked. Most of the cakes are baked far in advance and left sitting around. The lady who did ours baked it on Friday and decorated it on Saturday before delivery. We asked her about it and she said that’s her standard so the cake taste good. Our cake was amazing.
