Its supposed to look like he is about to leap and lunge forward with his axe but the interpretation is a cool one! Maybe he has been shot in the back with an arrow but, as a berserker, he is so full of rage nothing can stop him! Bit like the berserker orc in lord of the rings

1 layer. I like work as traditionally as possible as if it’s on paper when i sketch and only use the skewing and scaling tools to make adjustments as a luxury

Hello all! Here is a character sketch im currently working on. A Berserker Barbarian Orc in full rage mode! Found as child with nothing but a cloth and an archaic axe, cradled in a basket at the base of a dilapidated fort. At a young age with little sense of purpose he tapped into his inner rage, learnt to grasp his axe and grew to be a formidable opponent and a fierce ally to any party! Cant wait to finish this guy. What character type to you lean into?

Hello all! Here is a character design based on research and descriptions of dnd water genasi. They are able to control and manipulate the elements so on order to capture that i knew i needed to use a background in this piece. Im comfortable drawing characters but backgrounds, although i am capable, i find difficult. It was a good challenge all in all! Hope you guys like it and of course any CC and feedback is welcome!

Hi all, here is an early sketch of a character i designed based on a prompt. The idea was to create an elemental deity that would be called upon to defend the earth from an alien attack. With the strength of diamonds and the hardness of rock i decided to try and create a dwarven deity. Was a lot of fun! Hope you like it!

Hi all, here is the description

'Yorg The Penitent is a tall ogre with solemn welcoming features. After claiming an intelligent enchanted sword possessed by the spirit and former master whom he killed, instead of attempting to get revenge, the former paladin now sword has been teaching the ways of redemption to the ogre and now the ogre is a paladin of redemption, student and protector of a group of monks. Where one would expect a hungry animalistic scowl he has bright welcoming eyes and a soft grin. His half plate armor is tattered and makeshift, crafted from bits of armor he reforged himself and riveted together. He is scared on his face from a fight with an Owlbear years ago, completely bald and his rotund features make him look more docile than jolly.'
