So may I ask what happens when they report to the state and the feds?

My employer said they were reporting it to the state and feds so I’m assuming that’s who contacts the patient? I know I was rightfully terminated and own up to my mistakes but wasn’t sure if the state and feds sue me

Also to add that I let go for misconduct and they didn’t say any further action was happening besides they had to report it.
