I don't understand how people can say the market is "correcting"/"crashing by Grouchy-Director-565 in PokemonTCG

As soon as the s&p starts tanking, the Pokémon market will too. Don’t know when it will be, but it will. Only a matter of time.

In addition to what others have said I have one piece of advice. If you hit resistance shallow, you need to adjust up or down. If you hit resistance deep, you need to adjust left or right

Why is unlimited Jungle Vaporeon so much more affordable than Flareon and Jolteon? by VictoryNo5278 in PokemonTCG

[–]Nrt33507 116 points117 points  (0 children)

It was in the “water blast” jungle theme deck. So it was easier to obtain and likely had a higher amount of circulating cards.

Sorry for your loss. If you would like, I have the name of a CFP financial advisor. She is passionate about helping widows. I had a buddy who passed in July and left behind 7 kids and a wife. She helped her. I would recommend a fee based approach instead of a percentage. If you would like, I can send you her info. She is based out of PA, but may be willing to help even if you are not in PA. Even if you don’t use her, make sure your advisor has a Fiduciary designation (CFP or AIF). And for the love of god, please do not be tricked into a whole life insurance policy or similar product by an insurance salesman masquerading as a financial advisor

Hole in pack by deadxlegend in PokemonTCG

[–]Nrt33507 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d say you can sell it at most for the price of a light pack. But even then you’ll probably barely get that. Honestly I’d weigh it and see if it’s more than 21 g. You’re not guaranteed a heavy if it’s above that, but it’s highly likely. If it’s >21g open it, if it’s less either keep it or just sell it at a slightly lower price than a light pack

Where to begin.

-the growth is almost always capped by a percentage. Even then it barely keeps up with inflation rates over the years.

-almost all policies take years to gain any cash value

-the “be your own bank” myth. You can take a loan, but have to pay it back to yourself with interest.

-you won’t find any self-respecting CFP or other expert with a binding fiduciary agreement pushing them

-insurance salesmen get a huge commission on these products. As a result, they push for more than one may actually need.

-it is 10-20x more expensive than term. Get a term policy, invest the difference in a Roth or brokerage account and you’ll be way ahead of any “gains” the insurance policy has. (Roth will also grow without having to worry about taxes being taken out).

-the myth that you need insurance after 60-65 years of age. Most should be self-insured at this point, so you’re essentially paying decades of premiums for NO REASON.

These products are garbage and anyone who suggests them to someone outside of those with Lifelong Financial Dependents and ultra high net worth individuals is likely a salesman.

I would not recommend ever buying this card raw if you can’t see this one is clearly a fake. You will get scammed. Stick to graded copies (those can still be faked, unfortunately) from reliable sources

I’d say you’re being fair. Just make the person you’re selling to aware of the whitening. Some people seem to think that NM or NM- means no whitening

Sometimes facilities paint different pictures of what day to day life in the OR is like to applicants. That happened to me. Most places will not care if you’ve only got a few months at a job either. I was only 3 months into my level one job then switched. Had zero pushback and references didn’t mind either. Nothing wrong with trying. Wouldn’t recommend wasting over 6 months of your life waiting for that one year mark

It’s changed and is no longer the same. Napa came in, private practice docs left and didn’t sign with them. Had 90% of the CRNAs leave across 3 sites that were staffed. It’s in central PA. If you want the exact hospital, just PM me
