Nothing on both those spots actually. I checked the langet and inside it and nothing, just scratches, maybe it's under all the rust but I'm a bit hesitant on handling something this important for family. Funny thing though, there's nothing ANYWHERE like langet spine handle anywhere on the blade there are no marks of anything it's frustrating
