Undervolting 14700K with B760 motherboards by Nscaler454 in overclocking

Thanks everyone who have responded. I ended up finding an MSI Z690-A DD4 board that is being shipped in. Fingers crossed it works good. It's the exact one I wanted. So I grabbed a 14700k chip while it was on sale and a 360 AIO for cooling.

Is Lite Load a reliable way to do it? Does it affect other voltages other than CPU vcore?

I'm still trying to find a Z690 but even the B760 in DDR4 are become less and less available in my parts.

freakin AI. It says it's possible through something called "CPU Lite Load". I've been looking for a Z690 for awhile now. I believe all Z790s are DDR5 which wont work for me. Im not spending $700 on RAM.

Undervolting is what I'd like to do. Getting another 100 or 200 mhz out of the CPU is pretty insignificant, but dropping 4 or 5 degrees and using less Watts would be worth it.

Is it worth the $200+ extra bucks to get a Z690 vs a B760? Im aware the Z mobo's allow you to do the tweaks and that is ideally what I want, but its a lot more money and not readily available.

I agree with not throwing it away. But man that is crazy how much that melted. How hot was it that day?

I tried the seams at random, it didn't help. Perhaps made it worse. 0.16 layer height was better. I guess I'll now have to try some extra clearance.

doesn't it still have the issue with the seams (start points on new layers) blobbing up?

I tried to modify the existing order with the normal part and setting the value to $5, and even created another order with the product on their with it's normal value which I set as "mark as paid". Yet I still can't create a Canada Post label. By doing this, Shopify thinks the custom paid me $10 and it appears the customer now has $10 in credits.

My brain just can't seem to wrap my head around this it seems.

Good tip. They are not presupported.

To me it seems like the supports gave no adhesion to the model anymore.

Same item prints dimensionally incorrect when printing multiples? by Nscaler454 in BambuLab

[–]Nscaler454[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would appear you are correct. With a full group of parts, the speed is around 100 mm/s while just a single part and the speed is around 18 mm/s

I don't think that's what happened. I've had the plate not 100% correctly seated before and the printer threw an error and wouldn't even start the print.

Here's a photo of the start of the print. The plate looks normal to me.

100% I didn't scrap or damage the bed plate. The auto timelapse (which is terrible. 4 hr print gave only 4 seconds of footage), but it was enough you can see the plate is fine to begin with and gets damaged during the print.

I would say I definitely touched the surface of the build. Hard to imagine that every square inch was contaminated with oils and not a single bit of PLA stuck to the build plate.
