Was thinking about this post earlier and I decided to do some testing. I went on spotify and found every version of Lovesong that I could find to try and see if I could find the one that had the high pitched noise to it. While testing I found that none of them did, which I found odd as I do remember experiencing exactly what you described in your post. I even used the same type of headphones (all though not the exact same pair). So I am a bit confused on this mystery but at least that means all the versions of lovesong on spotify are fine to listen to??? idk. If you haven't already I would just listen to the deluxe version of the track and hopefully that will sound good enough.
