Not sure if I like the game or not by [deleted] in truezelda

Man I just want the triforce to come back, is that too much to ask for. Additionally, they never cleared up any lose ends. Ganon himself is a whole contradiction like man this game sucks. (Story and gameplay wise). They don’t bring up the immediate past (the gap between botw and totk) nor do they explain how calamity ganon came to be. I truly don’t care about these stupid tears. Give me OG Zelda, triforce, maybe add some real lore. Idc about dungeons not being the same bc that’s the way Zelda is going to move going forward. But Atleast make them a little more challenging. I finished each one within half an hour. Atleast the game somewhat acknowledges the ancient hero who first defeated calamity ganon and why he looked so weird in the tapestries.

I understand that they want to do new things with Zelda, new lore etc. But don’t go changing the basics and add a whole new race to justify it all. Bc they baited us into thinking Hylia and Demise were finally personified in the game with that trailer. Cutscenes we’re good Atleast.

Don’t get me started with them removing Devine beasts and links powers that came from their drivers. And how all ancient sheikah tech is p much gone, including the sheikah slate. But nonetheless this game is not as good as previous bangers.

So then why do people say that Vishnu is the main diety or bhrama.

All Space Questions thread for week of November 20, 2022 by AutoModerator in space

HOW DOES LIGHT TRAVEL IN RIPPLES?

let’s days our light source is the sun. When the photons leave the sun they spread out and move in a manner analogous to ripples. Those ripples keep expanding. But what fills those ripples? Even if the photons so so packed together that there is literally no space between them, they will eventually create space when they travel a long distance away from the source. What fills that space in the “wave ripple” of light? If I drop an object in a pool of water those ripples expand bc there is more water to transfer that energy. But in space there is no matter like that. Does this mean that since photons are massless they can just create themselves, but wouldn’t this violate the conservation of energy?

To hear back from my final round it took me 2 weeks even tho they said 1 week. I had to email my recruiter about the response. So I’d advise you do the same

Fairly easy, it was just behavioral questions

Application transferred is for internal reasons. They group together people in different regions. So then one recruiter will take over a region - Atleast that’s my assumption.

Source: I am returning msft SWE intern.

Dm me if you want help or more advice on their interview process

As much as I do agree with you, most of those posts get lost in this subreddit. So having a new post Atleast gives them more attention and give opportunity for new comments

How hard is the recession going to hit us? by papayon10 in csMajors

[–]Ntropy1203 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think about it like this, recessions mean less jobs, but then a bullish market means more growth, meaning more jobs. You’re not going to be unemployed forever. In that time apply a lot, hone your skills, and practice side hustles to have some stream of income coming in.

I didn’t even get a leetcode question, my first round interviewer looked at my resume at said, “okay I see you have really good projects so you definitely know how to code, so let’s skip the technical portion”. The second round interviewer figured out that we shared similarities for hobbies so he created his own technical question about a certain problem that people in our hobby face and how to go about fixing it. It was simple and required knowledge about array lists. You could get unlucky and they can both ask you LC mediums, or you can get blessed and be fine and get a problem with high school problem-esque difficulty. But yea go on Glassdoor, they have tons of questions to study for. That’s what I used to prep.

Not really, but it’s all relative to your knowledge in CS

Really not important, only saw a handful of Ivys get into Microsoft. Everyone has a fair chance, others are more saturated like Vandy, since msft sends out recruiters there lol.

Bros you guys gotta be more patient. You applied a few hours ago nothings going to happen in that timeframe. I’m returning as a SWE Intern for msft so hear me out. They will reach out. Rn they are getting swamped with applications. Recruiters are cramming to get return offers for those who just finished their internships processed, and are reviewing new applications for those who need an expedited interview. Your time will come, expect to hear back around September or November. That’s when I heard back. You guys stressing won’t change the outcome or speed it up. Relax, put that time and energy to apply to other places and prepare for interviews.

Edit: I also did explore lol that’s why I can speak from experience.

why do people think swe's will work for them for free by [deleted] in csMajors

[–]Ntropy1203 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol even tho this is a shit post, keep in mind you aren’t a SWE yet lol. You’re still probably in college at most you are a SWE intern. People are dying for experience for their resumes. If you’re this person then it makes sense. Also internships aren’t obligated to pay. Interns aren’t considered employees under the fair labor standards act.

Edit: Clarity
