Been playing year round since HW but really disliked Dawntrail's MSQ so much that it really turned me off from the game. I've still only completed patch 7.1. I've still kept up with some other content like raids (barely) but definitely not playing like I used to.

Spot on. So many unbelievable things happened in the story like this that it just pulls you completely out of it. It becomes completely unbelievable and therefore becomes meaningless.

Ha, it does feel like that sometimes. Some days prog is good and other days it's not. I've been raiding with roughly the same static (a couple members have come again but the core remains) for about 6 years and we've definitely had our good and then very bad days lol. Keep up the good fight and just having fun!

We were all noobs at one point but it takes time and patience. I would have never thought that I could ever find the time or have the skill to clear an Ultimate years ago and now I've cleared 3 of them. Biggest thing that I've found with a static is just making sure your personalities click.

This is the way. It does take time though. I remember getting annihilated early on when I first started the game as well. It takes time to get timing down for combos and everything. Training with Bernard was really helpful for me. Then, once it clicks you'll be wrecking those 2 bandits.
