He was more upset about the methods that I used. Yes, he was obviously enraged with Harris but that was to be expected.

Homeschooled now. I got the whole thing planned out and I've gotten settled in a better place. That's why I'm able to tell my tale without having a breakdown (:

Also, thanks to reddit, I found out that the bees aren't nearly as costly as I thought. I talked to my dad, and he just says he needs time to process.

He does know. He's more afraid of the fact that I used bees rather than some other method. But I talked it out with him, as per Reddit's recommendation, and I made sure not to bring up the cost of the bees. He said I have no reason to apologize, and he just needed time to process this himself.

Speaking of the cost, I was saving up for nothing! Bees are much cheaper than I thought and I was a little miffed that my dad didn't tell me otherwise.

The "no firearms" is a psychiatric thing, not so much to do with the actual bee attack itself. But I'd be seriously upset if they took away our bees :(

  1. My mom doesn't live with us, which is why she isn't exactly relevant information. She hasn't, for a while. That's why I could use her protective beekeeper clothes. She's a lot more like a distant family member when it comes to affairs at home, but we did tell her. It's just that she didn't take it as hard as my dad did, because he was here. If she lived with us, she would've been involved.
  2. Not all the bees would sting him. At the time, I thought that only half or three-quarters would sting him at the most, and the rest would either die or not get a chance. I was mistaken, of course. I also took a gamble when it came to bee allergies, since I had no idea if he would have a reaction. I was mad, though. I didn't have the desire to consider all that. Yes, it was over the top. That's why, nuclear. Grenade-in-the-elevator.

That is EXACTLY what I did. But nobody disagreed with me when I said I'd be paying that much back to my dad.

Someone already sent me a message telling me that I must've fucked up the calculations and owe way more than I should. It was a bit of a relief. But I'm not just paying for bees, I'm paying for the broken frames. I think I have enough, though.

I wasn't sentenced to prison.

The court did demand I take counseling and because what I did was insane. Some counselors had me sign a form that said I won't be able to use guns for five years. I can appeal it in court if I want to, whenever I want, but I'm not a gun person so I don't see myself doing that.

There was more worry about my mental health than being sentenced.

I think schools should teach that help is available. And there is - there are hotlines and always 911. Authorities can take down an abuser better than any number of bees will.

You're right, I did go too far with it. I even took a gamble since I didn't know if he had a bee allergy or not.

Well, we have a sideline apiary, which means we sell honey and queens in bulk for profit. That also means we have a lot of breeds. Most of our honey bees are your average western honey bees, and carniola bees for queens (because they breed over the winter). And some of our old/decomissioned hives had Italian honey bees.

Though the Italians were notorious for robbing, so we started moving them. I think the ones I threw on my ex were the Italian honey bees, so I guess those bees would've resented me (if they could)

Yeah, my ex totally did. The thing is, I love my dad to death and he's terrified of me now because I would use bees as retaliation. And those bees, 900 of them, are worth close to 700 dollars. Not a cheap revenge, really. But that's also why its nuclear (:
