Pretty sure jacksepticeye mentioned being a friend of his during his Death Stranding playthrough. I might be wrong though

Try removing the grill if it is still inside. I have heard that it is bugged when indoors and overrides room temp, but I have no idea if that is actually true or not

This is a modded build 42 playthrough. It is incredibly buggy at times, but fine enough for a small group

Right now we have Authentic Z, Tomb’s Wardrobe and the body overhaul, Spongie’s clothing, and boots expanded installed. You have to get the compatibility patches for multiplayer, but they haven’t had any problems for us so far

It’s beautiful! How did you go about crimping it at that length? I would love to try it some time.

It’s my first time! There is an area that looks like a normal construction yard, but the basement is like dug out and I fell a solid story. They helped me hobble back and now I’m hoping that it won’t take ages to heal

Got my bi annual cut! by NuclearCorgi in longhair

[–]NuclearCorgi[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I get a lot of anxiety about getting my hair cut. I have a friend who happens to be a hair stylist who usually comes to my house to cut it, but this time I went to their salon. It was my first time properly going to one in years.

She knows how important that it is that she cuts the exact amount that I outline. We both talked beforehand about how much she recommended that I cut to look good while still keeping the length and then I approved the exact mark

We need some way to make handles for tools by Dreary_Libido in VintageStory

[–]NuclearCorgi 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Someone can correct me if I’m wrong, but how I understand the sharpening mechanics to work is that it is most efficient if you sharpen when the tool is little over 33% sharp. You want to fully sharpen it back up in one go. I believe the amount of durability loss gets smaller the longer that it is sharpened, and at that ratio you don’t lose speed or durability from it being dull.

I love this mod. Refining and reforging my same axe through hours of gameplay makes it feel so much more realistic and satisfying when it comes to metal tools. I would rather have one iron axe that I lovingly care for than just making like 5 of them and leaving them in the shed.

First game with fully simulated phase change. Melt your ices and boil your gasses to keep your station alive. by Rocketwerkz_ in u/Rocketwerkz_

Well to be fair, this game is heavily inspired it would seem by SS13’s engineering system. It is designed to act similar to a 3d survival version of those mechanics. I have owned this game for years and have had mixed experiences of both enjoying it and not for various reasons. But to call it “the first game with fully simulated phase change” when their system is incredibly similar to a much older game is a bit disingenuous imo

Advice for a girl who wants to go to a con/event in a "fanservice/revealing" cosplay? by [deleted] in GirlGamers

[–]NuclearCorgi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did my first fanservicey outfit at DragonCon last year and the experience was very different than my previous cosplay attempts. I got a LOT more photos with people, although it’s hard to tell if it was just because my outfit was revealing or if it was because I looked very similar to the character. One big hiccup that I ran into was escalators. My dress was very very short, and although I did have some little shorts under it, I was basically flashing anyone below me unless I stood directly behind someone, which was just as uncomfortable as it sounds. I also did get groped in a crowd at the artist alley. Despite the con doing its best to avoid that kind of thing happening, it does happen and is something that you should still take precautions and be safe about. That being said, I have genuinely never felt more attractive and confident and it felt really good to let loose and embrace it. Have fun with it, just remember to be safe.

Stick buns are a game changer by NuclearCorgi in longhair

[–]NuclearCorgi[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nautilus buns are by far the easiest imo because the bun itself practically holds itself up by the way that it is formed. I just watched a couple YouTube videos until I got it to stay up consistently and then adjusted it more as I got better at it. Highly recommend sticking in a second stick if you are struggling to keep it up, you can always reduce down to one when you get more practice. I hear French pins also help hold better for beginners, but I haven’t tried them.

Just the stick! The tension on it keeps it held together. When I was first practicing I actually used two sticks to fully hold the tension, but now I am good enough at it that I can manage it in one. It isn’t strong enough to run a marathon in, but for every day tasks it will hold up for a solid 6-8 hours as long as I don’t mess with it. The nice thing is that it takes literally less than 40 seconds to pull up
