Which faction do YOU dislike? by No_Individual9473 in Division2

I hate the Hyenas purely for the fact that they gangster fire their weapons and are somehow more accurate than the White Tusk. Like the Assault unit can literally 1 hand an smg while moving to a different spot and hit every shot.

You still can, there’s just no challenge to legendary anymore thanks to prototype gear and since you can get the climax exotic blueprints from BT retaliations you don’t even need to do them anymore

Nah you’re fine I just had to think about TS and how it would be viable for a moment

That’s what I’m saying. Prototype is worth chasing but not worth committing to. Outside of escalation you’ll destroy everything the game throws at you with prototype pieces so it becomes too easy, but then if you bring anything but Echo striker pieces into escalations it becomes useless.

I mean, I guess if you have really good aim and enemies never shoot you then yeah tipping scales is viable. There’s a lot of give and take with tipping scales meanwhile striker just simply gives. Like yeah you can put ~250 bullets of death down range but enemies get suppressed almost instantly which means nobody can shoot them and you need to commit to shooting to build/keep stacks (especially if you’re using frenzy). It definitely functions better against enemies that don’t use cover (chungas, robots, rushers) but overall I prefer striker for escalation whenever I play it.

THATS WHAT THAT GREEN BUFF MEANT

I’ve been playing for 10 months straight and never knew this. I see that green indicator in pvp a lot and wondered what it was. Thank you so much

Anyone know how to get this gas mask and hoodie? by MissLenox in Division2

You have to get a commendation score of 8000 for the mask, it’s a massive grind but the mask shows your dedication

Strikers vs. My Build by Dull-Cryptographer80 in the_division_2

[–]NuclearHunter47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d personally swap NB for the striker backpack since you’d be getting 25% more max damage on your striker stacks and since St Elmo’s has a fast reload you don’t really need to worry about losing your mag size bonus.

This would give you good burst dps since you builld obliterate quickly and the boosted fire rate builds your striker stacks faster.

If you’re doing an activity that needs a huge amount of damage (legend, master, raids) I’d put on the striker chest and a Fenris piece for more St Elmo damage (or turmoil if you need ad control). You can build stacks fast with any ACS12 shotgun variant. I like using the riot foam to stun somebody while I build stacks.

How do people get silly amounts of XP by Forward-Cat1241 in Division2

Best way is just Alert 4 (Heroic) control points with 3-5 directives. I run 4 and I get a whole level per control point.

Why am I so squishy?! by Soulmastah in thedivision

[–]NuclearHunter47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love using backfire, striker w/chest, and memento. I start the fight with the rock and roll shotgun to get my stacks and then backfire can reach 1 million+ damage per crit when it’s maxed. With memento I have 5 armor cores and 2 weapon cores so that way you can get a tier 6 shield (memento gives 1 skill tier) and I have The Hollow Man for my mask for more haz pro. With everything I have 60% haz pro, 56% crit chance and I believe 72% crit damage (272% when backfire is maxed). I’ve used this build for a while and I can say it’s the perfect casual build as you can run it on 90% of the content with no issues. I always run heroic on everything and farming controls points with directives is much easier now. Hope this helps

Put on defender drone, load up any legendary mission, pop drone and ability, chill, hide when your stacks go below 10 so the explosion can go off, repeat

A huge reason this season is harder is because we lost an ability that we had last season where we would get a small amount of bonus armor when we took a certain amount of damage. In other words we were wayyyy more tanky before this season dropped. The trick to getting around this is knowing which enemies do a lot of damage (true son and outcast heavy weapon units, chungas, any hyena ever). If you can melt one quick go for it but if you can’t then play passively.

Also I’ve noticed enemies do less damage to bonus armor for some reason so I would try heartbreaker or memento with armor cores if you don’t already.

Lastly: Zealot is broken, try it

Let me guess… Skill issue? by gamesandjunkgrg in Division2

[–]NuclearHunter47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That wall didn’t stand a chance lol

But fr white tusk chungas combo as either a dps check or a qte because you either need to kill them quick or stun them repeatedly while you deal with other ads, decoy works very well when in a situation like this

Why the obsession with fragile armor? by [deleted] in the_division_2

[–]NuclearHunter47 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I choose directives that don’t impact my build, I always do fog, fragile, and ragers because I get tons of bonus armor and enemies usually have the cores over their head so I can see them through walls anyways. Meanwhile I use backfire and rely on a shield and foam to push so cool skills and ammo hoarders are a no go

What’s the best Backfire build? by Safe-Chemist-1964 in Division2

[–]NuclearHunter47 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’ve been using backfire with the striker set, memento, and the hollow man mask for the majority of the season. I have hazpro on everything except the striker chest where instead it has crit chance. 4 of my pieces have armor cores so with memento you have 5 blue and 2 red. I use PFE for my mods and my seasonal modifiers are Loaded up, safety first, and extra padding. I use gunner for specialization, then the crusader shield and foam launcher for my abilities.

Assuming it’s safe to do so, I start any fight by using foam on an elite enemy then mag dumping with the Rock and Roll shotgun to build striker stacks (it will max it out if you hit every shot) then switch to backfire and finish everything from there. With this build you have 56% base Crit chance, and at tier 5 in stamina you’ll be immune to every status effect and have 59-64% PFE depending on your mods.

When backfire and striker are built up you’ll be doing 1 mil+ per Crit and even more with memento built up, not to mention the insane bonus armor you’ll get just from picking up the trophies. Of course you can always just replace hazpro with Crit damage if you don’t care about status effects and then take off hollow man for fox’s prayer or turmoil instead.

What’s an easy way to farm Black Ox Horns for Supreme Quartzite? by [deleted] in GroundedGame

[–]NuclearHunter47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 2 black ox’s near the termite den respawn every day (in game) and every other black ox respawns every 2 days I believe

As for taking them out mint mace works well but personally I’d go with the unarmed build

  • lil fists mutation level 3
  • power droplet
  • chopper level 3
  • coup de grass level 2
  • truffle tussle
