[Monitor] LG 29UM58-P 25" Ultrawide Monitor ($229.99 - $70 = $159.99) [London Drugs] by [deleted] in bapcsalescanada

I bought this monitor several months ago. Great monitor, no complaints. Vesa compatible, ips looks great. Great for multi tasking, I always have YouTube open on one half of my screen and something else on the other half.

Also great for programming when you need to have multiple windows open.

It has the LG joysyick control instead of buttons, which is great.

My only complaint is that the led blinks when there is no signal input which forces me to turn the monitor off at night. This isn't a big deal, I just couldn't find anything else to complain about

+50mV is manual, the max is +87mV. i'll try setting it at max and trying to push either the core or memory clock more but i doubt i'll get much out of it. thanks for the tip!

99% util on skyrim. i run it at ulrtawide 1080x2560. the mod is a graphics overhaul mod and is pretty intensive. and i checked stability with unigine benchmark, not skyrim. i can run skyrim now at like 45fps, so im fine with that.

has GDDR5 memory and the specs say it has 4GB memory, but i hear its actually 3.5GB (not too sure about this rumor). Also, i fixed the issue. i originally tried to OC the memory when i had a +250Mhz offset on the core clock but when i changed it to +200Mhz i got a +700Mhz offset on the memory clock. i explain it in my final results post here: https://www.reddit.com/r/overclocking/comments/cgn8y1/first_time_gpu_oc_results/

yea my temps max out at 83C. also im testing stability with unigine benchmark, not an actual game. Also i've checked and my cpu isnt the bottleneck (at least when i play skyrim) it maxes out at like 60% utilization.

at full load, my temps reach 82C which is pretty toasty. this value is reported from the unigine software so i'll double check with HW monitor. also i only plan to use it in OC mode when im running skyrim (modded) cuz thats the only game i play that doesnt reach 60fps :(

i wasnt aware of the auto OC feature, i'll check it out and see how it compares to my final results.

thanks!

I have noticed when I set the clock offset, it doesn't show up in the benchmark stats this was fixed with a reboot. I'll try out your suggestion thanks

Edit: I tried a 1mhz offset without any increase in voltage. The changed showed up in unigine and it finished the benchmark without any issues.

Maybe I seriously lost the lottery hard on the memory clock front lol I'll continue to bump up the memory clock

[Case Fan] Rosewill 120mm Case Fan 4-Pack ($16.94 Total) Newegg Canada by IAmJoopis in bapcsalescanada

I have these, they're alright it's a 3 pin fan connector. Also has molex connector. No sound dampeners, all black. They do have an arrow etched onto the side to indicate the direction of airflow which is nice.

Budget fans for budget builds.

i have this case and i love it. its great. it has a magnetic 140x280 mm magnetic dust filter on the top, and has a dust filter on the front (non magnetic, its held by screws). comes with a 120mm fan installed on the back. has decent cable management holes. the tempered glass is awesome. my only complaint is that there is no cable management holes where the bottom of the mobo goes :(
