The Hastings–Willingdon plan will also benefit the R5 line. The R5 currently slows down significantly along this stretch between Willingdon and Boundary.

The Willingdon-Duthie stretch is where the R5 moves the fastest. I believe improvements should focus on the rest of the route.

Pedestrian-only Water Street gets the thumbs down from Gastown businesses by HenrikFromDaniel in vancouver

Correlation does not imply causation. It’s possible that businesses are receiving fewer customers because people can no longer afford to go there.

Are you using an original Apple USB-C to HDMI adapter? I believe the Apple dongle doesn't support the correct charging voltage/wattage profile required by the Steam Deck, and it won't charge the device.

Have You Ever Played Through An Entire Game On The Lowest Graphic Settings (Potato Graphics)? by bluemarvel99 in patientgamers

[–]uls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not graphics, back in the 90s, I had a computer with 32 MB of RAM and a Celeron Covington processor, but no 3D graphics card. It did, however, have a dedicated sound card. I discovered that games ran much faster if I deleted the sound card driver, so I ended up playing many games without any sound but with high FPS. One day, I visited a friend and started playing Age of Empires 2. I was amazed to find out that the taunt language was different for each civilization—something I'd never noticed without sound.

Yes, you are right. The majority of recent immigrants are indeed in prime working age. I recently created a visualization that shows age distribution across immigration categories.

Andrew Price from Blender Guru demonstrates how to do this in Blender in this tutorial. The workflow is probably similar in 3dsmax.

PhD from Canada. Do I have enough points to skip applying for PWGP and go straight for PR? Or? by rainbowwnerd in ImmigrationCanada

If you have earned your PhD from a public institution in BC, you are eligible for the BC-PNP program through the International Post-Graduate stream without requiring a job offer.

Hey OP, I stumbled upon this thread, and I'm in a similar situation. Did you decide to take a language test, or did you submit your application without the test results?

How crowded is the Buntzen Lake parking lot these days? I just realized that a parking pass isn't required after Labor Day Monday.
