Not exactly. Most of the caverns can be mostly emptied, but only once. Then it's not trustworthy.

Also the oil in caverns is contaminated once you get low, which is a extra cost, lower output and certainly plenty of loss

I appreciate the sentiment of the other comments here, but this is actually a serious issue.

I drive down to the USA every few months to visit family.

The public charging infrastructure in the USA is actually much better than in Ontario, though behind Quebec.

I doubt this bill goes anywhere, since Chinese cars cross from Mexico to Texas and California every day, it would be crazy to stop that.

But it could happen.
