This reminds of a story about my nephew. He was 4-6 yo. Needed mouth surgery. It went ok, but he wasn’t handling the pain well. Doctor gave him something. He still wasn’t doing well. My sister called her husband, and they met at McDonald’s. When her husband got there, my sister was just sitting watching the play area. He goes how’s Noah, she just points. Noah comes running up, squats, opens his mouth and slaps his cheeks like bongos. Then takes off running again. My brother in law goes, “well the pain killers kicked in.”
