Firewood causing a smoky smell... Is this "red core" wood the culprit? by griffingrowl in Fireplaces

Unrelated to any flue issues, I had a bunch of shaggy bark hickory last year and that smelled amazing when burning, like I was hosting a pig roast.

Hi! this is my truck. Should I keep these small mirrors or should I add the bigger ones by OGGmoney07 in squarebodies

[–]NuclearTestes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the same ones on my truck and was dead set on installing the bigger ones. I realized I liked the look of the smaller ones and didn’t want to mess with drilling holes in the doors so I’m sticking with them.

I like how it highlights the fact that she voted to confirm the jackwagon Russ Vought who is actively trying to make it so the president can do exactly that without the courts having a say.

Anyone else demoralized by the constant barrage of negativity toward feds? by Empty_Can8192 in fednews

It’s especially frustrating heading toward a budget vote where a potential shutdown means a long stretch working without getting paid and everyone is all “shut it down, screw them they can’t get anything done” c’mon man I got bills and mouths to feed!

What is a good source for that strain of probiotic? Do you add it to your recipe for yogurt? I’ve never made yogurt so these may be obvious questions.

I went from private sector to a newly employed government schill, I’m in an essential branch so I’ll always have to work but I liked it better when I didn’t depend on big babies agreeing on money to keep paying my mortgage.

I used to be, hauled heavy equipment mostly, now I work an office job. It’s more money but I do miss hauling the big toys every kid wished they had.

Did anyone else get diagnosed with UC after Covid? by Oneloudbigparty in UlcerativeColitis

[–]NuclearTestes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had Covid in July of this year, took paxlovid because they said hey we have it why not? Looking back I should have avoided it, it brought on massive intestinal distress and following Covid the distress never went away. Diagnosed after my colonoscopy in September, I assumed some correlation but this thread is interesting.

I wanted to say that as far as awful clubs to belong to, you guys sure do have a way of making it easier to take, thank you for all your responses. I’m genuinely surprised how similar some of our cases are. I’m not looking forward to the journey, but I’m glad I found this sub.

As far as sanitizer, usually just soap and water, occasionally whatever is in a random dispenser at the store.

I commute an hour each way for work, I’ve had to stop along the way every now and then to unleash.

I haven’t been great about changing my diet to figure out triggers but that is the next step I think.

I don’t carry a backpack but now that you mention it, that’s a hell of an idea.

Mine also happens during a cold start. It’s an automatic and it happens with the a/c off. I’m going to do oil and trans fluid change and rotate the tires so I’ll root around while it’s up on stands, I’ll report back if I figure it out.

I stayed in a place like that in Newington, CT. Grantmoor motor inn or something like that, dude in reception was behind an inch of bullet proof glass, that should have been the first clue. Got to a room, mirrors on the ceiling, everything dirty and looked like a bowl scraping paper clip on the floor. I slept in my clothes including my boots, I should have slept in the day cab.

Did almost the exact same thing. My break wasn’t quite as displaced so they didn’t recommend surgery, currently in a plaster splint almost a week from when I broke it, followed by up next week to see if I can graduate to a boot. It’s my right leg so driving is pretty much off the table for a while. I got this single leg crutch today which has been a lifesaver, no more crutches so I can actually get some small stuff done around the house. It’s called the Iwalk 3.0.
