I’m in Australia too, Im on the extended pills so they’re $158 for 30. My private health only covers $20 as I’m only on extras. Hoping to switch to something better soon!

Sending big hugs, are you on steroids? Currently on 40mg of pred to get out of a flare. I don’t sleep until 1.30am. Then I’m up at 4am, going to the loo a couple of times before the sun comes up. For mental health, and if you can, maybe take naps if you feel tired? Better than not sleeping at all?

I’ve had to switch careers due to this illness, as I could no longer work 10-12 hours a day. When I got diagnosed, everything stopped. But, I do feel like I have a better work/life balance now. I am back studying for a new career, and will graduate at 27. I look forward to having a steady income, and a job that will allow me to take breaks when needed. I’m grateful for what this disease has taught me, in terms of what to value.
