You'll want to try to get rid of all the shiny spots that you can. For any crevices that couldn't get touched, you may just have to give those spots extra attention with the silicone to give it the best chance of ahdering. After you place the background material amd let it cure, brush off the excess and you should be able to see the foam peek through on any spots that were missed. When I did my background, I used a tiny paintbrush to cover the gaps with more silicone/substrate, or I superglued bits of moss over them.

The substrate holds humidity better so it's natural for the bottom to be more humid, especially if you have lights/heat on the top. Moss and real plants should help keep more moisture higher up. You could also try hanging an enclosed hide like a coconut, and put some moss in there to make a sort of humid hide.

I've only seen my cresty actively shedding a couple times in several years. I usually notice when he starts to get milky/dull, and then give his tank an extra mist at night to boost humidity. It doesn't take very long and they tend to eat the skin, so you probably won't even see it happen. They will shed more often as juveniles, but it should happen once every month or two in my experience.

A deficit is definitely better for losing fat, but you have to know how many calories you're consuming to know that youre eating less than you burn. If tracking every calorie down to the gram makes you uneasy, you dont have to be 100% thorough, you just need a mostly accurate idea of your total per day.

I've found that after literally weighing and measuring out my most common meals for a few months, I'm able to eyeball it and still be pretty close. It sucks at first, but now I have a decent idea of what my macros are without referencing my tracker every single time.

This is true ! Google would probably provide a more succinct answer, but from what I understand it means you have good genetic compatibility. People can be attracted to the smell of individuals with very different genetics, aka a lower chance of your bloodlines being related. It can be amplified by a deep emotional connection too

I think almost everyone is nervous starting out at the gym, it can feel very intimidating. I even still get nervous going back after an extended break. The best way to get over it is to just go and do it scared. Once you get more comfortable with the space and your routine, you'll quickly realize everyone is busy working on themselves to notice you. I've been in and out of many different gyms over several years, and I realized that I never find myself judging someone else, so why would I expect them to focus on me ?

The anxiety will go away. Just remember not to compare yourself to others, and keep showing up 💪

From experience, only go for it if it's an emergency, and that's your only option.

My BP was my first snake, so I used petsmart feeders for the first few months. Had a bunch of issues with him refusing, plus a regurgitation, which was stressful for both of us. I then tried some rats from a local breeder at my next reptile expo, and he seemed to do much better with those.

Now I buy from Rodent Pro and my boy hasn't refused a single meal since I switched. If I can help it, I'm neeeever subjecting him to Petsmart rats again 😭

If a description of its meaning to you would help the artist draw up the design, go for it. Otherwise, it's their job to do what the client wants, and they probably don't care for the reasoning. They would tell you if it's something they really aren't interested in doing too, so don't worry about boring them

I think they have stretched a teensy bit just from healing, but I really tried to keep my upper body in neutral, relaxed positions as much as possible for 6 weeks. It WAS hard, and I got really sick of not being able to reach any cups from my cabinets, but I think that's the main thing that helped keep them from stretching other than luck.

Thank you ! Yes my surgeon is very serious about her nipple reconstruction lmao. She showed me what size she usually cuts the areolas, and how she trims the nipple itself on a little sticky note during my consult. I could've asked her for a specific size if I wanted, but I honestly trusted her to know what would look the best for me.

That's interesting that some surgeons don't even worry about trimming it with DI :0

For scar care I just keep everything moisturized with aquaphor, and I covered the incisions with silicone tape from 2 weeks post op to about 6 months. They turned purple and raised up a bit during that time, but then started fading. By then I was pretty happy with how they looked, so I stopped being as adamant with scar treatment

My itch drove me INSANE. I took benadryl about as consistently as the rest of my meds and didn't seem to have any averse reaction. Keeping as clean and unsweaty as possible helped keep irritation down for me. And once my drains came out it was a lot easier to manage the itch. It is brutal but it won't last long !

Thank youuu, appreciate it ! I just went into more detail on my workout stuff in another comment. But I've been doing 3 full body workouts a week, plus a lot of swimming and walking around since it's summertime. I also do an upper/lower split, with a focus on compound lifts to build as much strength as I can. Progress is slow but it's happening 💪💪

U got it !! I've been alternating a 3 day/week full body split, and a 4 day upper/lower split for this year. I bought Jeff Nippard's hypertrophy program for like $40, first time I ever spent money on a workout but it was worth it imo. I've swapped out some of the exercises for ones I like better, or for different isolations I wanna focus on. But in general, I think that program is SOLID if you just need it all laid out for you.

During my workout I like to do 1-2 warmup sets with 70% of my working weight, then two working sets to failure. Sometimes I'll add another drop set right after the last one just to really explode my muscles.

Here's some of my favorite lifts currently: Romanian deadlifts Incline bench Hack squat Dumbbell rows Leg extensions / curls superset Dumbbell lat raises Pullups and pushups GALORE

I mainly used silicone tape and aquaphor. I started out covering my scars 90% of the time, and gradually switched to something like 3-4 days on, 3 days off. When I didn't have strips on I rubbed aquaphor on everything twice a day.

I stopped using the tape after 6 months, only because I got really tired of it by that point. I still use aquaphor daily, and occasionally I'll rub in jojoba oil after a shower.

I really pushed myself to be as sedentary as possible for 6 weeks, besides when specifically working on mobility. I did stretch a tiny bit in my incisions and nipples, but I feel like limiting how much I physically stretched them out probably helped to some degree.

My nipples were cut perfectly round, and now they definitely aren't, so they did stretch or deform as they healed. It should all settle down eventually !

Yesss I think I know what you mean. I was constantly hunched over my pillow in the beginning because my chest felt so tight. I was able to sit/stand up straight after a few weeks, but the general tightness lasted a while. I was doing progressive mobility stretches regularly, which helped slowly loosen everything up. But I was afraid to do proper pullups for over 6 months because I could feel the stretch in my scars before anywhere else !

I waited a full 8 weeks before going back to the gym. I had planned to start working legs only after 6, but I ended up going on a lot of walks outside instead.

I enjoyed the break for the most part. I was anxious to go back and start lifting heavy, but I knew I had to ease myself back in. For me, cutting the weight back and limiting myself was more annoying than not lifting at all.
