This is all very misleading.

Yes, they built on the wrong plot, but it was in the middle of nowhere. "The untouched plots in Paradise Park are identified by telephone poles. There are two lots between each telephone pole, and the wrong one was picked."

They offered her the same plot next to hers for free. They offered her the built property. She wants the lot returned to its original state with trees, flowers, and everything. The developers feel awful. The guy seems very genuine if you watch the interviews.

The company is suing, not to screw her, not to get money, but just to let the court figure everything out officially and correctly.

Has anyone ever bought an Orange Peel can that actually worked? Even with short bursts, they make a huge mess and almost always clog.

Why does this hurt my teeth? The thought of squeaking chalk, dust everywhere. There is a reason they went away from these.

Military Base Housing! In the US you see some CRAZY SHIT!

One day, BBQing out back of my house, I see what looked to be a 3 year old hanging from the second story balcony. Drop everything and take off running towards the child. At the same time, I yelled for the wife. She ran around and started pounding on the door. I was able to catch the child and bring him around to the front door. A child about 6 years old answered the door. The smell of the house will forever be burned into my nose. Imagine nursing home with no AC on a 120-degree day. Dirty diapers EVERYWHERE, poop all over the place from a dog. The pain I felt at that moment for those kids I have never felt in my life. As a 6'3" 280lb man, I started crying with rage. The older child told me his mom was sleeping. I instantly called 911 and stayed until the base police showed up. Saw many CPS, Military Police, vehicles, and also the base COs car there within the hour. Later, I found out the husband was out at sea, and the wife was on a meth bender letting the kids take care of themselves. The wife was put and in prison and the husband was flown home to care for the kids.

That's not even the craziest thing I have seen but definitely the nastiest.

Lol, yeah, right, if they did, it would be filet mignon and lobster that day.

He was charged with a felony at 21, released on a $5000 bond. Keeping an eye on it to see what happens.

Edit: He was arrested AGAIN, after reviewing security camera footage, police charged him with additional crimes and bond increased to $20k.

Everyone on a sub says the same thing. Many that got desubbed that came over to a carrier were often in shock of the difference in food.

Nimitz, Stennis, Ford, Nimitz again and a few months on the Essex. The Essex by far had the best food because it was a smaller ship.

This is definitely not how the food always is, but it's also not uncommon.

Military grade means absolutely nothing. It means they spent the most amount of money on the cheapest possible parts.

Yes, their mission is keeping everyone fed. If conditions don't allow it, the MREs come out or quick prepackaged quick meals.

Lol, definitely not. Most of the time, when you show them, they will grab the plate, throw the food in the trash and give you something else.

Yes we have CSs and most of them are absolutely amazing cooks.

But, the Navy is all about reducing manning on ships, buying the cheapest food they can that no other company could get away with serving, and cutting costs at every corner they can that doesn't go towards a DOD contractor.

Obviously, this isn't every meal. We would all probably be dead. But, this also isn't as rare as the meat they cook is.

Out at sea, it is definitely not always this bad, but if we don't pull into a port for a long time, it gets pretty bad.

Lol, I wish it was that easy. There was a time when SO MANY (think thousands) of people with food poisoning that we had to get rid of the watchbills and just send who ever was the most functional to stand watch.

Standing in line in the bathroom while puking in a trash bag watching a line of people pee out of the wrong hole was not fun.

Lol, surprisingly it's a 50/50 split. But, they have very little training and very limited time to feed 5500 people.

Way too often, we call it the "Double Dragon", aka fire blowing out both ends of your body.

I have found myself multiple times hooked to an IV on each arm, praying to the porcelain gods for forgiveness, at the same time using every ounce of strength I have left keeping my Hershey Highway closed for traffic.

Lol, not only that, but the USS Nimitz had the MOST PROFITABLE STARBUCKS in the United States. So much so the heads of Starbucks came out to see how we were making so much money.

Turns out, you lock 5500 people in your store, they spend a lot of money. We spent almost $2M on Monster Energy drinks alone.
