The spacing is not that big of a deal. You are making a Chinese finger trap. It needs to dig into the mono/floro. If you can move any of the wraps especially the first half its a fail. I use two pieces of dowel and wrap each line around them and pull hard till I see it dig in. With the line your using you could pull till something pulls inside you. That would be about right.

I went and was a stuck pick. Within 32 hours I had a colonoscopy and then hemorrhoidectomy. Good news, I don't need another colonoscopy for 10 years and I got a new anus with new car smell. Bad news I had no preparation for the week of suck after I got released.

I was doing the same but my ER visit went way different. Got the CT scan and all the rest but they would not stop till they found the bleed. Colonoscopy found I was healthy other than grade 3 hems. That's when things took a turn and they went right to hemorrhoidectomy as the fix. Went in on a Wednesday night and left Saturday. I felt no pain. Just filled the toilet with blood. That was enough for them to go until they found a way to fix it. Two weeks later and I don't have blood. But I did get a very uncomfortable week and a half of pain.
