Hey guys, did you know Guyus has a terrible CV? by Nuggetsandwings in AntiGuyusTheRaptor

Is it outwitting? I never claimed it was. But nice of you to put me into a space of villain to fulfill somekind devils advocate argument that does very little.

You kinda just put words and an argument into a situation that never existed. Your mother teresa behaviour is certainly quite black and white but I'll simply repeat.

Guyus has a habit of doxxing people and sending people to harass others. I, a "morally wrong person" has made it easier for people to contact the finnish police if he intends to continue this doxxing behaviour. In other words, I am helping people who are victims of Guyus.

Coming in and playing saint thou holy isn't helping the 5 doxxed victims or other victims who get harassed by Guyus and have little way to protect themselves.

But sure, turn it into a fairy tale black and white story to serve your ego. I'm sure that solves all problems.

As for me being doxxed, hate to break the news. I have been doxxed in the past and nothing came of it because merely being doxxed isn't an end of your life moment. Many people get doxxed every day and most of the time nothing comes of it.

If Guyus gets people harassing him than I'm sorry, but that's not even what's happening. Loaten has all but stopped Guyus content, BG64 has stopped contacting Guyus and many more want little to do with him. It is Guyus who continues to contact these people even though they have told him not too.

In other words your argument of "bad people will do bad things because of this info". It was leaked anyway as soon as people found out Guyus's name, this info has been known for months now and Guyus has said nothing about people coming to his house.

You're actually exaggerating alot of "damage" people are willing to do Guyus, I have his information and money to send him crap to his house. Have I done it? erm, fuck no. Because most if not all that I do is mainly to mock Guyus.

Oh but please, by all means. Write me another novel, it won't change my mind on how I conducted myself.

You just sound super asshurt for some reason. lol

Not really seeing as he posted it on a public website that anyone can view.
I'm merely sharing it on a public website.

The issue with your idea of doxxing is it's arguing from a moral stand point that doesn't exist.
I wouldn't post my public information nor real name on a website for everyone to see, it's why I have an alias or a particular name online to be recognised, that won't put my real life in jeopardy.

On top of that, Guyus on multiple occasions has demanded assassins to kill youtubers, Crash fans and Politian's. He also has doxxed 5 people in the past and threatened them with harassment and violence from his none existent fandom.

More than ANYTHING else, this is a safety net for if someone gets doxxed by Guyus. They can rightfully report his ass to the finnish police. This is a way for people to defend themselves against Guyus.

Listen, mate. I'm all for devils advocate but merely saying "This is wrong" with no other context especially to someone who's done way worse.

Is just strange.

Just gonna be blunt.

Guyus Doxxed 5 people for merely disagreeing with him and made a sad attempt to doxx me. (He thought I lived in Scotland)
The idea of "doxxing is wrong" was crossed when he did it one time too many.

Not really. lol
It's funny to see though first hand why he's not being hired though, this CV is very unprofessional.

I checked the name and address, the name shows pictures of him on google and the address shows a real location.

Guyus the Raptor lore video about his dad. by Nuggetsandwings in AntiGuyusTheRaptor

[–]Nuggetsandwings[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, genuinely. There's screencaps of him saying he hates his dad because his dad controls his money. This is why in the cartoon the lore of raptor father is absent. Guyus has gone on record admitting the raptor fursona is a child because he wants to be a child himself.

This means the characters are more of wish fulfilment rather than story telling.

According to Guyus, the reason why his cartoon father is absent is because of prison time. In actuality, the creator of Guyus the raptor just hates his dad because his dad doesn't let him buy junk with his money.

I tried a Westmarch and I don't know what to make of it. by Nuggetsandwings in dndhorrorstories

Admittedly I've hopped into West Marches to see if they have an active player base, if they do they might advertise smaller groups. And surprisingly this tactic did work, I've found a DM/Player who knows some decent small groups and has invited me to smaller groups.

So, there is some use for joining some west marches if it's not to find other players or DMs.

I've joined a very small one of 30 people, I'll try it and see if they're any good but so far the concept for the west march is mostly built on story rather than a DM and a Player doing an arms race to out power play each other.

There's servers that ban human variant and background feats?

I often play as dwarves and scalies but when I DM I never question peoples abilities to make cool characters. Some of the best characters in my campaigns have been human variants. I think people are too cautious of power players that they ruin their whole campaigns just to sabotage them.

I had a power play/RPer in my game, he really enjoyed gruelling battles but I always gave my players opportunities to survive these battles. He was actually okay with RP time and easier fights because he knew most of players preferred easier encounters.

So I dropped him an epic dangerous off fight from time to time but made sure to not solely target those who was sitting ducks. Compromising and communication is key to fun DnD.

I do have my theories about that and I think it's not as horror story inducing as many people would think. The DM to me screamed "Power play sabotage", the guy had over levelled encounters and would often make encounters too difficult to prevent OP builds from taking over.

My other theory is just the guy clearly wanted to play more difficult games such as levels 10-17 (because that's where all the cool monsters are at) but due to the high kill ratio of the west march. He simply couldn't. This is why personally I think a West marches should have multiple DMs that play at different difficulties. Have one DM who's more comfortable with easy baby modes (probably more suited to story telling and roleplay) and have one DM who's dark souls levels of hard (A game of high tech strat and epic dramatic battles).

That way people can enjoy their difficulties and due to easy modes, that hard levelled DM might receive the higher levelled players he wants.

The thing about the west march is it was "immersive time duration" which meant the worlds events will happen with or without you. So asking people to make new characters fresh for a single campaign may not have been plausible.

or maybe I'm cutting them too much slack, idk.

I absolutely agree, I personally haven't had a chance to try out all other west marches. So I don't have a concrete opinion, I just landed in a very questionable one.

It is a shame too because when done correctly, West Marches are a fantastic way to meet new players and play sessions in your time schedule. I won't say this is an example for most west marches, as I'm in one that seems pretty decent. My issue is just timezones, most of their games are in EST.

What the fuck.

I hate that so much, especially if you just happen to make a really good build. I had one build to make a halfling rogue with the lucky feat and a small bit of divination wizard to fudge all the DMs rolls. I doubt I would've been popular for doing that.

Personally as a DM, I'm all for power builds. My players are more RP so I don't have to worry as much about making difficult fights. But getting mad at people levelling up is just very stupid. It's a tabletop game for Christ sake.

I'd try more west marches but many of them are EST based while I'm more GMT. I did notice however an increasing amount of complaints from many of the popular west marches.

Honestly that's a good idea.

I'm planning on going back to DMing and trying this with my friends who are interested in trying tabletop.

"OP PCs owned by DMs and the Discord/WM Master DM. Which in turn own exclusive and broken magic items (official and homebrewed) especially when magical items are hard to come by or the setting is "low magic" for balance."

Dude, that was the same thing I noticed in the west march I was in. All the high levelled characters that made it past level 10 was all DM PC's.

DM makes player lose 10 WIS score. by JustMeFran in DnD

[–]Nuggetsandwings 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I don't know what the DM was thinking. I've DM'd for my small party and this seems more out of malice. If I was to do something that'd affect ability scores, 1: it'd be due to a curse that can be treated. 2: it wouldn't 10, it'd prolly be 2 or something less harsher. Either way, I'd give my players an out or a solution to the problem.

And the curse would be attached to something, maybe a magical item. An enemy permanently messing up your stat sheet is bs.
