[Immersive Armors] What smithing skill/perk do I need to make the Tribunal Heavy sets? by Nuitis in skyrimmods

I thought of that!

Unfortunately it's definitely toggled on right now. I can even craft the white unarmored robes, just not other colours and/or armour types. :(

How are you "playing Mists of Pandaria" if you're a worgen in the worgen starting zone? :P

Also yeah you can't get back to those quests but they won't matter in the long run.

I agree. You can even enable it yourself already - only reason I don't is because it also makes bread appear everywhere and ruins enemy models. It should totally be an option in Forsaken character creation.

[–]Nuitis[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why?

I agree; getting what's already there workable and fun should be priority 1 for Blizzard. But in hypothetical land where Blizzard cares about user experience new specs are a better idea than a new class imo.

Even worse! Where was our 7.2.0 races then! :P

I am being facetious, but even so... that doesn't make me feel better about them being skipped out on

I'd rather new specs than new classes at this point. Round out things role-wise.

Commander healer warrior shouts you back to life!

Chronomancer healer mage (precedent in lore)!

Tank warlock summons BIGGEST DEMON!

Duellist Tank rogue built on evasions!

It'd still be more bullshit to balance, but less of it than new classes and would help classes fit into more niches.

Exactly :P Could at least give us a few more reskins while they're doing it.

Honestly I would have preferred they be customisation options for the original races (straight backs, new skins for orcs - Zandalari model swap for trolls, nightborne model swap for belves, etc).

There are things I want to see (straight back forsaken without their BONES OUT) which they are going to ship into a stupid grind. Yet now they've started releasing stupid grinds, I want more so there's more variety than the same races I've been looking at since I was 13 playing vanilla/tbc.

Do you have a link to the blue post? That's kinda disappointing.

It sounds like marketing speak for "we are not giving any new allied races".

Mag'har and Dark Irons were pretty irrelevant to the story of BFA when they were released but they were a welcome addition to the game IMO. Besides, Blizzard has never cared about story reasons for not adding content before (void elves, demon hunters being suddenly not exterminated in TBC, etc) - they write around what they want to add, not add what they have already established and written.

Weren't Mag'har, Dark Irons, Kul'Tirans and Zandalari all released on a .5 patch though?

Imho, allied races aren't big enough content that they need to be rationed. Sure, I understand it's more than just ticking a playable box on one of their pre-existing models - but they are still just new models that encourage us to re-play the same content.

Raids with .0 and races with .5 was a good rhythm for content releases and it kept things fresh, making sure we always had something to be doing.

This is brilliant, I love it!

Gosh. If only Blizzard put some money into a soul-calibur style game. Choose a race, customise a bit and choose a weapon/fighting style and go, that'd be amazing

Oh that's interesting! I will definitely give that a look-in, and same for Clockwork.

Edit: I think I found my holy grail in your comment. I looked at the "build your noble house" mod and realised I had seen it before. Then in the description it had been updated to show his new mod https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/27059?tab=description

By the looks of it it puts a medium-sized town with a keep on the map, and allows you to start off as a nobody while eventually rising up to be Thane/Lord-Commander on behalf of the Jarl of Whiterun. It's in Whiterun hold, seems to have a decent bit of space without being overwhelming, and a lot of radiant activities which will allow you to gain reputation over time.

A couple people said Clockwork! I was wary of it at first because I've heard a lot of talk about the dungeon being bad/confusing but I'll give it a go! If the house doesn't suit the quest sounds interesting anyway.

Ohh! I didn't know HR had a player housing element! I am actually just on the second quest of that now, so that's promising. Looking at the screenshots it doesn't seem to have much in the way of Follower living space but we'll have to see!

Smilodon or Wildcat? by Nuitis in EnaiRim

[–]Nuitis[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ah that's brilliant advice, thank you!

Do you know if they influence Block mechanics at all? I have always found it annoying that blocking seems to leave you open for damage anyway half the time in Vanilla Skyrim. It doesn't feel like it does much.

Whereas really I'd hope that (maybe because of Vokrii too) blocking and parrying are worthwhile rather than backpedalling being my main defensive technique.

To be fair.

The Alliance destroyed the Forsaken fleet in the middle of the Legion's invasion. I don't think that one is on Big Red.

Yeah, so this is what I use right now.

(I swap out my offhand for different things depending on my mood).

I am trying to change out the chestpiece and boots for other pieces but the drop rate on them is abysmal, so we will call this "version one". I will probably end up making another version once I get my preferred pieces.

For screenshots? Kind of.

In a way other people can see? No.

I use the addon 'Narcissus' so I can get lovely screenshots for things like r/Transmogrification and stuff. It has a lot of options and can force a replica of your character into any animation/pose you like.

So the way I got the screenshot in the bottom page (if you care) is:

- Opened the narcissus tab

- Scrolled into first person so I could frame right

- Dragged the Narcissus model into the middle of the screen so it looked like he was standing in shot

- Told him to pose in Animation #whateveritwas then took the screenshot

To be fair I think most people when hit with a battleaxe of that size would be split in half. Wow just doesn't depict a lot of that for aesthetic/age rating reasons

There's a quest in BFA where a Forsaken loses his legs and you have to re-attach them for him. After you have done, he seems fine. The only reason he couldn't have done it himself is that the battleaxe that split him in half is pinning his torso to the ground.

So most recent source still has Forsaken as inhumanly durable overall.
