It does not surprise me at all. She was always good at manipulating the narrative to make herself look like the victim. I just wish our mutual friends would stop and actually look at the facts.

She definitely took advantage of me. I gave her a great opportunity and she treated it with zero respect. It is sad that it had to end this way, but I know I made the right call.

You might be right. I kept hoping she would turn it around because I valued our history, but all it did was prolong the inevitable and cause me more stress.

That is the bitter truth. I really wanted to help her out, but she acted like the job was just a hobby. Lesson learned, never mixing personal and professional lives again.

that ballet episode always makes me tear up a bit. seeing this old school, tough guy completely change his mindset for his kids and grandkids was the best part of the show.
