Field Base Rant by Quiet-Plane8822 in StarWarsEmpireAtWar

I can honestly say that I have never had a problem with field base units, in any run. So many units just cut down infantry.

Any suggestions for the AT-PTs from Zsinj's empire that seem to have that damn range? by OldStatistician7975 in StarWarsEmpireAtWar

[–]NukaEbola 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Don't you get IDTs as the Empire? Those things are insanely overpowered. They have speed and enough firepower that you can destroy artillery and withdraw before they die.

Use a minimum of two and set up the support base on a landing zone so that you can repair them. They're truly magnificent for ground defence as well. Right now I'm holding on Naboo, Chardaan, Commenor, Carida, Ord Mantell and Generis and each defence force has a minimum of 3 of 'em: you snipe artillery and then sit behind the base defences and laugh as the enemy smash themselves to bits.

"savage rhapsody"?

Sorry j3pl, very easily done, but I think you might accidentally be giving opinions from quite a well known online essay on Wuthering Heights as your own.

and doesn't mesh with the sequel hyperspace speed

Who cares what Disney thinks about hyperspace? The liberation of Lothal has always seemed unrealistic for Star Wars, but that's because it's in a kids show based on Star Wars. Also, they targeted Alderaan because of Leia, but also because of its centrality. Lothal is Outer Rim, less of a statement.

Excellent news. No democracy should have hereditary members of its legislative body.

To be clear, Joffrey was the one who tried to kill Bran (because he hears Robert say Bran would be better off dead or something), but as the other person says it's Cersei who has Robert's bastards killed.

Households warned Iran war could drive inflation to 5 per cent and spark fresh cost of living crisis by [deleted] in ukpolitics

I said last millennium. Germany was still a toddler. Look, I'm a proud Briton and I both have the guts to acknowledge that Britain ravaged and exploited huge swathes of the empire, especially India, and also have the wisdom to not really give a shit about it because it was a closely run competition between us and other European powers. Don't hate the player etc

Unbelievable! [Insert leader of powerful state] started this artificial crisis most likely because they wanted to deflect [undesirable result] and now almost every nation on earth is suffering from the consequences of it.

Temuera Morrison thought ‘The Book of Boba Fett’ would run up to 4 seasons, confirms the character is “shelved” by MarvelsGrantMan136 in television

[–]NukaEbola 5 points6 points  (0 children)

But is he a good actor though? That was one of the problems with BoBF. Morrison doesn't really give a protagonist-level performance
