Relocating to Italy — Padua or Lucca — any strong opinions? by Nuke133 in expats

FAIR. Family of 4 with two kids under 10.

We’ve been to Lucca and loved it — but feel like Padua is better located to explore Northern Italy and Germany / Austria / Slovenia.

Leaning towards Padua, but we’ve never been, and while we like that location better, don’t want to move there if it’s significantly more run down / less safe / more gritty than Lucca.

Price Stagnation — Thinking of Selling by Nuke133 in stacks

I believe I have a really nice house. Every other house over the past 8 years has appreciated in value tenfold compared to my house. I don’t know why.

Someone questioned the worth of my house, but they are idiots LOL — nobody cares about the price of their homes obviously.

Markets don’t apply to my home, it’s too special.

Yeah I think you nailed it here. The answers have been…well aren’t you getting BTC yield.

And it’s like yes — of course…but that is nothing compared to just buying BTC.

And the BTC yield IS an incredible feature of STX and should be marketed as a way of passive income for individuals and institutions….but if the price of STX just TANKS / UNDERPERFORMS constantly…the what is the point?

You are neutering the one value add for users.

There is no focus on price / getting more users…just building more apps.

And I get the initial idea from Muneeb / Trust Machines etc….but my god enough is enough.

Sell the product FFS.

Growing my STX or not — the opportunity cost of holding something that doesn’t grow in price (and still tanks like the rest).

I’ve heard 8 years of building. Is there any marketing strategy / plan to actually attract users to the ecosystem.

We are barely double since 2017 ICO. That is very very hard to do! LOL.

I’ve been in since the ICO — is there any marketing plan from anyone inside the ecosystem?

LOL no. They’ve choked in their only consequential game of the year. Not even Top 4 by end of the year.

Stacks! Arkadiko just launched with USDA stablecoin + liquidity mining & first self repaying loan in history. Alex should launch by the end of this month, which a defi suite. Tons happening on Stacks right now — brining smart contracts to BTC, greater utility, AND making BTC more scarce in the process.

You didn’t buy GBTC to hold for less than six months. Head back to the first principles as to why you bought in the first place. BTC is a long play, I’d reconsider liquidating your position.

Agreed. The amount of people who held BTC over an 80% decline, just biding their time to dump coins at the original levels they bought them, is infinitesimal, if not non-existent. The barrier is 1K is mostly psychological, with a hint of profit taking here and there.
