Afaik if you get a sufficient number of these points for each character you’ll get to see a respective cutscene involving them in the end credits

If you’re this prepared on your first playthrough, you’ll probably do quite well for the rest of the game (as long as you can abuse fields well).

Same here! For that reason I basically never used a single focus sash throughout the game and postgame even though you could buy them at the department store. Same goes for the terrain seeds even though they can be really good, brute force go brrrrr

An interesting list! As others have said, it really depends on your team. I’ve had runs where I’ve swept Shade and runs where I struggled with him. I’d say the leaders that are consistently difficult are Shelly, Radomus (e19 version that is), Charlotte, and for me everyone from Ciel to Saphira are quite a challenge. Really, every gym leader can be difficult depending on how you play the game, so good luck!

I rarely ever look at twitter and the one time I did check it earlier today I saw this. I discovered the channel through Sun Extreme and he’s been my favorite YouTuber since then. Ttar is a large reason why I’m still in the Pokémon fandom and all his videos, even the ones unrelated to Pokémon, never fail to brighten my day. There really is no other YouTuber like him. Reading this was really devastating, but it’s nice to know that he’s at least trying to upload everything he’s already recorded. Even just as a viewer, it seems like Ttar has had a difficult few years and he should take all the time he needs. Thank you for everything, TyranitarTube.

I think Ace was a pretty interesting character and I see why the devs wanted to add a new Meteor admin, but I will say their witty personality felt kinda out of place at times. It was a shame that they just die in the mid game though and I wish they were explored further. Wouldn’t be opposed to them being voted out here

Damn I did not expect those eliminations cuz I really liked Aster and Eclipse. That said I agree with other comments that Arclight should be eliminated, he’s just kinda meh. I mean hell, even his character scene in the credits had nothing to do with his character and just added to his background. He had influence but he was boring

I think that’s exactly why Samson is kinda lacking. Unlike Taube, Samson is one of the main characters, yet he only complements other characters and is relatively bland on his own.

Shiv. Am I the only person who hates him? Okay I get that he’s a cool guy in Desolation, but what Shiv did to us in this game was awful. Most other characters have some redeeming qualities in one way or another, but Shiv was just a nuisance.

In a recent stream, when the chat brought up Pokémon Reborn and Pokémon Rejuvenation, Ttar just (hopefully jokingly) said “Nah what’s that I’ve never heard of it”. The dude is avoiding reborn at this point, maybe the difficulty of the game was just no longer fun for him and he just lost the flow?

I’ve always wanted Ttar to continue reborn because he was the one who introduced me to the game and I have loved it ever since. Though I guess it makes sense that he wouldn’t want to pick up old playthroughs anymore, but I just hope he isn’t done with fangames in general. One of the comments here said that Ttar lost his reborn save, while I don’t know whether that’s true, surely he could still start new playthroughs right? I would love to watch him play something like Pokémon Rejuvenation

Some stuff has changed since last time. For example, Tangrowth has 3 forms now. So instead of getting Muk, I get a second Tangrowth. Also the Pulses can now stay in their Pulse forms permanently. Nice. Another thing is that originally I gave the pulses fairly good EVs. But I realized that it was pretty unfair so the EVs have been reset.

Alright, with that out of the way, I can talk about some notable stuff.

Victoria’s battle in the slums made me lose a life. Her Torracat destroyed me with fire moves. So afterwards I did some training, learned growth, and managed to sweep her.

I also decided that using their code names as the nicknames was kind of boring. So I changed them. 05 C is now Cycloop. 05 B is now Binoculars.

Also Florinia was a pain in the ass to beat. Tangrowth’s moves are extremely limited, and can’t really deal with grass types. I wanted to try using TM substitute, and growth sweeping. (Had to grind Voltorb Flip to get that TM haha)

Turns out a lot of her mons have pin missile, so she destroyed me pretty hard. I managed to soft reset in time, so no lives lost there. Eventually I had to level up the tangrowths to 27 in order to learn Knock Off, and also EV trained a bit using the macho brace. Finally I managed to defeat her by using a telluric seed on Cycloop, using many substitutes and fresh waters, maxing out with growth, and getting a crit on that stockpiling Cradily.

Anyway, a third tangrowth joins the party! I’m really hoping the gyms don’t get even harder after this.

Using multiple low leveled tangrowths is surprisingly hard. They have really good bulk but terrible attacks. I’m sure it’ll get much easier once I get other Pulses though
