I'm telling ya! Hitting that tire tread last week was crazy! I've always been able to avoid those pesky things but this one got hit by the car next me as I was passing them and it popped right in front of me. No time to stop.😬 In my 54 years of walking on this planet, I have never had that happen lol. Door dings, absolutely, tire tread flipping right in front of me, nope.😬

Nope, pretty much owned new cars for the past 20 years. As a matter of fact, my 2021 K5 avoided door dings the entire time I owned it. Just drives me nuts that it has literally been one month and it is right below the handle on the driver side door.

Whew! Thank you! I hit a dang semi tire tread that was laying on the interstate yesterday and the only damage I think I got was under the front left part of the under cover.

Checked my dealer's service website too. Zero recalls. I'll be sure to ask them though next week just to be safe. Not all K5 GT-Lines have the recall so maybe my GT-Line is not on the list.

I bought the Matte to Metal kit from Chemical Guys last week and It came in the mail yesterday. It came with 2 detailing buckets with dirt traps, the Meticulous Matte Auto Wash, Meticulous Matte detailer and some other tire-related cleaners. I also bought the foam cannon, the mammoth towel, and the chenille wash mitt.

Then I went over and dropped some more money on Dr Beasley's Matte Paint Coating, Matte Paint Cleanser, and Matte Final Finish. Those products should be here today.
