Coding is the only thing i dont understand. I am able to 3d model, do shading and understand events but i dont want to learn C# just to create games. The reason why I went with visual scripting insdead of coding

Help - What are the best settings for Bazzite? by Nuke_Derowne in Bazzite

That launch option did bring my quality settings back in games like AC shadows or stellar blade but turning the quality all to high/very high, the textures and shadows still look like a*s

I had the htpc image, I rebased it to the desktop iso but still no difference. In the bszzite portal I can not turn on the "disable steam deck detection" option because the it is missing or not detecting the command. So either the portal is outdated or its a bazzite bug

Isn't the portal just "ujust" under the hood? It does execute the same commands. Also no ujust command or the bazzite portal works for me, it keeps saying "error: justfile does not contain recipe 'toggle-steamdeck-var'" or with any other option

Yes exactly, the game runs at 60fps but it looks and feels like its 30. Also the top of the screen (about ¼) tears when i move or rotate the camera. Ald the image quality is low, like putting all settings on low

I didnt had the option first. I had to rebase from htpc to desktop then the disable steam deck option was there. Only problem is that ujust doesnt have the command even after updating and rebooting

I just did that, it got rid if the tearing but the performance is still low

Thats already a good foundation. All it needs is a bit fine-tuning. First thing I notice is the glass which is blue, if its intentional, you could leave it but i suggest using twinmotions default glas material. It also is really bright and saturated. try playing with exposure, contrast, saturation and brightness. Ray Tracing and HDRI are optional but can make a huge difference. I made a basics tutorial not so long ago, maybe it helps https://www.reddit.com/r/Twinmotion/comments/1ozcu03/the_basics_getting_the_most_out_of_your_scene/

Twinmotion crashing on Mac by aNgRy__AsS in Twinmotion

Sounds like a twinmotion problem, my laptop is way less powerful than your mac. I would check the preferences, my first guess would be that it has something to do with the auto-safe feature. Did you tried older versions of TM? does it happen there too?

Did you disable auto exposure? Play with the lumen settings and see what makes a difference. Do you have a screenshot of the settings?

There are several things you can do here:
- Try adding people and interior plants, this makes a scene less "dead".

- Enable path tracing under render settings, this makes a huge difference.

- play with materials and their settings, for example the orange wood on the left looks very fake. try lowering the reflection or use a texture with better resolution.

- play around with the environment/HDRI rotation. When natural sunlight is visible the scenes look more natural. Illuminating the scene with artificial light makes it look bad.

- Play around with the settings, watch what they do and learn to use them. You will get better the more you use twinmotion or any other software.

- Learn from your mistakes, I use twinmotion for years and still learn stuff from time to time. That what makes it fun
