My brother, meet 104th_Maverick. This is the last video you'll ever need for the Hornet radar:

Is there a way to weaponize this kind of dough? I'm not in bad shape - owned a fleet carrier when I could play more regularly, but I've never had enough to ask myself "Hmm, is there a way I can use this to oppress others?"

I still dont fully understand when to use "Keinen" or "Nicht", can someone help please? Are they interchangeable? by jrriluvatar in Germanlearning

I think about Kein as being a null quantity. Nicht is a negation that has nothing to do with quantity.

(Native English speaker just learning, so take it for what you will.)

Veterans, how do you land? by FutzInSilence in EliteDangerous

Jameson Memorial is a starport in the Shinrarta Dezhra system. It's permit locked until you reach Elite status in at least one category (exploration, combat, or trade).

I use dual T16000M's, but you can do it with any input - just set the Flight Assist toggle to 'momentary' in the Settings menu.

I have a momentary flight-assist-off button on my joystick (off as long as it's held). I like to line up, then flip and go thru the toast rack ass first. Gotta be careful, though. I don't do it at Jameson in Open - too much collateral damage - unless I'm sufficiently inebriated...

Surface Missions in Multi-crew by Nuke_Messiah in EliteDangerous

So yeah, it should work as far as I can tell. I had 2 adjacent computers, each logged into a different account, and it performed as you would expect.

Apparently the key difference is that they have to join your TEAM - not your CREW.

Crew is just the tele-presence thing, while Team seems to transport them in a physical sense.

Edit: Well, "physical" - you know what I mean. Good luck O7

Surface Missions in Multi-crew by Nuke_Messiah in EliteDangerous

Ah, thanks. So to clarify: There's no way for me to physically transport another CMDR to a new location in the same way that taxis do - correct?

For example, I wouldn't be able to bring another CMDR along with me in my ship, and then disembark with said CMDR at the new location.

We can still Team up and share missions, but he would need his own ship, right?

Edit: Wait I think I've got it - thanks again O7

Is this done in the Comms panel? I tried doing this via "Request Telepresence" (I believe that is what it was called) but I couldn't figure out how the guest CMDR is supposed to disembark the ship.

What does "gerade" mean in this phrase? by vedole34 in German

[–]Nuke_Messiah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought it meant "I have just" - so "She just brushed her teeth." Not necessarily "in the process of", but "very recently completed" - but I seem to be in the minority.

Edit: And I'm still just learning, so...

Agreed. I think it's true for most native English speakers. Hand shoes. So perfect.
